oh, right, I probably should post...

Hello!

Guess who now posts on Saturday. :3 YAY! Anyway, soon-ish I shall be traveling to the wondrous land of Momo's house for a magical event, AKA an awesome party celebrating our one year blog anniversary.
OHMYGOSH GUYS I'M SO EXCITED! There's gonna be cake and play-doh and movies and the surprise that I'm bringing! (It's a surprise, so I'm not gonna tell you what it is. :P )

Um, so, I'm gonna be posting on Saturdays now, huh? This should be fun. Y'all get to see what Carrie's like on the weekend, instead in mid-week drag. WOOT WOOT! I should warn all of you reading though, I can get a liiiiiitle bit crazy. XD However, I'm pretty excited.

I went to a carnival today! It was a lot of fun. 4/5 of the other curly fries were there, so I pretty much floated back and forth between them and the boyfriend. Speaking of him, the boyfriend got me earrings. :) They're so pretty, and I feel like bragging about them. :P I think I should really think of a nickname for the boyfriend. Any suggestions? Back to what I originally was going to say, Lynda is currently in our state's capital (that is where she is, right?) rowing her butt off and being awesome! I wish I was as awesome as Lynda and was able to be athletic in some form or another, but I'm not. I sit on my butt all day. :P I be is such a lazy curly fry. :3

Yeah.

I hope you guys enjoyed hearing from me twice this week! Even though Wednesday's post was slightly depressing, I'm feeling much better now! (Hur hur, that made my think of Monty Python's Holy Grail) "I'm not dead yet! I'm feeling much betta!" Lawlsies. :3

Oh, hey, I just wrote a reasonably lengthy post, in my opinion at least. Did you enjoy reading it? Good. :)
okay. bye

DFTBA! ♥

Smiles, hugs, and lots of love,
Carrie

Anniversary, yo! Zomg I spelled that correctly!!! It /hasn't/ been a waste of a year!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, YOU GUYS <3 <3 <3 <3
YAY! We did it!
hooray!

A'ight. So what had happened was...
We were sitting at lunch, right? And we were bored because we were in middle school, and that's about all middle school seems ever to be for. Then the lights dimmed. Only a single brilliant beam of light shone down upon our dear Momo, who was suddenly struck with an idea. What about a collab blog? Kind of like the Five Awesome Girls of YouTube, except the Six Something Somethings of Some Blogging Site?
The six no-lifers were overjoyed at this concept. Writing? ZOMG FUN.
After much debate, they settled on House's idea for a name, the Six Little Curly Fries {capitalising "the" being optional}. Figuring internet anonymity would be a good thing, they chose nicknames quickly.
Magically, they each wanted different days. Hoorayyyy.
And so—after a little bit of site debate—this blog was borned.
After 365 days, the six had not made any major advances on getting actual lives, but the blog lived on. It now even has a couple of regular readers. They're still confused how that happened...
P.S. I still can't spell "anonymity," however. Nor can I pronounce it without rather embarrassing difficulty DX

Yayyy!

Today has been a pretty fun day. This week was spirit/theme week at our school, today being "retro day." I wore one of my aunt's old skirts and got lots of compliments, yay. Also, a lot of our teachers seemed in weirdly good moods... which is kind of worrying.

I got to finish off the afternoon with xiy, which can only be a good thing. usually.unless it's about 9HD.
We sat in the library and made edits to Virgil's beautiful story, which can be found somewhere to the right of this post. You all are very welcome. (Sorry for any silly mistakes... there was a rather irritating librarian behind xiy and I. She was bothering us to hurry up so she and the {less irritating} librarians could shut down and go home.)

You're probably getting bored with my rambling, so I'll leave you soon. But first, a Dichotomous Key:

Looks like you survived the Dichotomous Key! And I survived learning how to "Dichotomous Key!" Yay for too many vowels!

I now hand the post over to my fellow Curly Fries...
Goodbye, Friday! It has been so much fun :)
With all due respect,
House.

<3 Lynda:

<3 Virgil: I'm second!!! Woohoo!! That dichotomous key is amazing. I like #6. Haha. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO EVERYONE!!! I, unlike Momo, believed 100% that we would make it this far ^_^ because I'm an optimist. I'm excited to assume my new post as the Tuesday-poster (AHH IT'S PUN) and I'm SO PUMPED for our party at Momo's house. And Starship. OMG. And I might have another surprise (besides the fanfic, which you should all go read). I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!! <3

<3 Momo: I'M FIRST!!!!!!!!! Gosh. I had to do that ^ thing twice before I got it right. You wanna know why? Because 11 does not equal 16. oops. my b. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!! I remember when we had our first monthiversary, I boldly declared that I didn't think we'd ever last this long but if we did, it would be SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!!!! So, yeah. Tomorrow, at our party, we will be enjoying more gifts, partying, STARSHIP!!!, food, and the awesomeness of each other. Yay! I am so pumped. I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3

<3 xiy: I'm. . .third! But! Third is a perfectly respectable position, especially when there are six total Curly Fries, which means that the third person is the halfway point. :D Anyway, ONE-YEAR=FANTABULOUSNESS. I am so very happy we made it this far. It's totally awesome. ♫ Tomorrow's going to be very fun, and I'm quite excited, and oh gosh just FLAILSQUEE. I LOVE THE 6LCF. Yayyyyyyyyyy! ^.^

<3 Carrie: *reminiscent sigh* It feels like only yesterday... sitting at lunch with the other 5. Oh, what wonderful memories!!! :D And tomorrow we gonna PAR-TAY!!! At Momo's house :D excitingexcitingexciting!!! this weekend is about to be AWESOME! anyway, I loooooove my fellow curly fries and all of their awesomeness. And just how flipping FANTASTIC this whole entire year has turned out to be :) I would have never expected it to last this far. (well, I totally did, but I want to say that I didn't so that my reflection has "depth". :P )

(Also: Here is pt. II of xiy's anniversary-themed drawings (pt. I being the banner up thar) :

Argh, my foot fell asleep...

...and the pins and needles are starting, and the only place on me that is ticklish is my feet, so....ARGH!!!

---OMG, dude, the Anniversary picture (gosh, that makes me feel old, anniversary picture...like and 80 yr old) is up, and IT IS PURTY!!!!----

Alright, since lovely Carrie's post was so ridiculous and untrue, and totally a downer, and definitely the most crazy thing she's ever thought of, I feel like my post today should be filled with facts.

FACT 1:

Our 9HD projects were due today. (Virgil and moi's, note, House, xiy, Carrie, and Momo's were turned in a while back)

FACT 2:

I put in 2. TWO!!!!! DVDs in my backpack this morning. In 2nd period, one of them was gone.

FACT 3:

One of the DVDs dropped out of my backpack and out onto the dining room play room floor. (Mind you, it was in a CASE. Somehow it dropped out.)

FACT 4:

I AM SO SORRY, VIRGIL, SOOOOOO SORRY!!! I KNOW I PROMISED IT WOULD BE OKAY, BUT IT WASN'T, AND I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOO SORRY! PLEASE FORGIVE MEEE!!!!

FACT 5:

Our 9HD documentary was beautiful. My class even clapped at the end!  =D

FACT 6:

Donald Trump is a horribly biased/racist/bigoted/ignorant/annoying/HORRIBLE person.

FACT 7:

Just to get this straight, China is not manipulating the US to spend more money, and get into more debt with China.

FACT 8:

China is also not ripping the US off with all of it's "Made in China" products that the US has. Here is a piece of supporting evidence: Every $200 iPod in the US pays a Chinese worker $0.06. 6 CENTS per 200 DOLLARS. WHO'S RIPPING WHO OFF NOW, YOU DUMBA**, TRUMP???

FACT 9:

Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii, August 4, 1961, in Kapiolani Hospital. He is an American citizen.

FACT 10:

If Donald Trump becomes President of the United States of America, Lynda will scream swear/cuss words at the TV that shall broadcast this in a fluent, fast, eloquent, passionate, poignant, and forceful voice .

FACT 11:

The 6LCF Anniversary is tomorrow!

FACT 12:

The Royal Wedding will take place tomorrow!

FACT 13:

Princess Diana's/Princess Kate's wedding ring is worth more than half-a-million dollars. It's 18 carats. (Dear future husband, if you don't have a ring like that for me, we are finished, you hear? FINISHED!)

FACT 14:

There shall be copies of Kate's wedding dress within days of the wedding (btw, the dress is worth more than half-a-million dollars too!)

FACT 15:

If Kate loses that 18 carat ring, Lynda will use her magical powers and find it, and keep it accidentally lose it again, this time permanently for Kate...

FACT 16:

Lynda has a regatta tomorrow and Saturday, in Columbus, so she will be slightly late to the Anniversary party, and she hopes that the rest of the Curly Fries will be gracious and pardon her lateness (I mean, she could be slightly earlier, but that would mean forgoing a shower, which...might not be a good idea).
FACT 17:

Lynda hopes that some of the facts in this post have made you giggle/snort/laugh/roll-your-eyes-and-go-'oh, Lynda you greedy and shallow thing'/cheer-you-up!

Farewell, world!
Lynda

*sigh* Carrie fails at life :(

It's true! Carrie fails. Badly. At everything.

She also doesn't know anything.
She thinks that she should just go climb into a hole now.
She also is wondering why she's talking in third person?

Meh. Enough of that.

So um, Curly Fry anniversary on Friday? Exciting. I don't know, it's been feeling lately like I simply don't click with the other Curly Fries. :/ I just feel like I don't belong, but maybe that's just me.

I think I'm just going to leave now. bye.

Have a nice life.

:(

Magnolias: I Love Them.

It was supposed to thunderstorm most terribly today, but it's 5:23 PM right now and the weather has yet to deliver that promised precipitation. In fact, it's actually rather sunny (sun of the watery-yellow, struggling-to-get-out-of-the-clouds sort) and very warm.

Despite the fact that a loud, dark, broody thunderstorm would be extremely fun to watch in a dry, cozy house such as I am in right now (along with hot drinks and various desserts), I think I prefer this sun. It is almost May, after all. Silly rain needs to stop and let the flowers take over.

Speaking of flowers (<-lol another segue*), there is a magnolia tree in my backyard that is really really really really pretty this time of year. It has these beautiful pinky-white flowers and it's right by a little pond and the entire scene is very picturesque. Nearly all the flowers have opened by now, and when the wind blows--like it is doing today--all the long pink petals shake in a most elegant and dignified manner, and it's just so beautiful. (The flowers even smell all right, though it's not my favorite smell.)

Thus, I decided to spend at least a small portion of this lovely thunderstorm-less afternoon drawing some magnolias, because they're very pretty and I need practice drawing plant life anyway. So I come today bearing three (3) drawings. They're not the greatest, because xiy + plant matter + pencil/pen/crayon/Sharpie/coloured pencil/other drawing utensil + inspiration to draw = TERRIBLE THINGS.

(Stupid HTML has at this point decided to add a strikethrough to everything I type. Please wait while I go shout at fix it.)

(Okay, better. Well, obviously. Since not that entire above sentence turned out struck through. Yeah. I just thought I'd point that out. Not that you needed it. I don't think.

. . . Nevermind.)

ANYWAY.

Here come the drawings:

This I coloured with crayons (and a few coloured pencils) before I realised that I have Gimp, which has colours much more suited to the subject matter than a pack of 64 Crayola crayons can ever provide. So then I felt very stupid.

Whee~. This one and the next done in Gimp and slightly Picnik'd.

This one is my favourite, I think.

And now here are some pictures of the real thing, so that you can all laugh at how badly I draw flowers.:

It was actually pretty sunny at the time I took these pictures, but they all look like they were taken on a cloudy day. B|

--

This is my last Tuesday post, s-sob. But I trust in Virgil to make Tuesdays even more awesome, and I am quite excited at the prospect of posting on Fridays.

(Also, I get to post the one-year anniversary banner soon. OMG.)

So I hope I ended on a good note (I expressly left out a rant about math class today so that my last Tuesday post wouldn't be angsty; I hope you're proud of my self-restraint, guys**).

See you next-next Friday! :D

xiy

*Yes, House, it's spelled s-e-g-u-e. Just in case you were still confused. 8|a
**Well. I actually plan on ranting a bit in my LJ, but that's not the point, is it.

Happy Easter! & My Favorite Things

I just got back from church, and I went straight to church from Lynda's house, and I went straight to Lynda's house from getting out of bed this morning. So yeah, that's why this post is a lot later than usual today.

IT'S SATURDAY!!!

La la la la, la la la la, Virgil's world! La la la la, la la la la, Virgil's world! Virgil loves to acolyte, but not really! That's Virgil's worrrrrllllddd!!!!!!!

So at church today, we were holding our Easter Vigil ("vigil," from the Latin word vigilo, to stay awake, is a really long service in which no one stays awake) and guess whose name appeared on the roster for tonight's service. Hmph. I had to carry a really heavy cross and I thought I was going to drop it and then everyone would be mad at me >.<

So today I'm going to talk about my FAVOURITE THINGS! It's fantastic timing, because I've been in an incredibly good mood this weekend. These are in no particular order...

Virgil's Most Favourite Things

writing,
especially during November,
rereading Harry Potter books
and coming across those parts that make me smile every time or make me cry every time,
the sound of thunder and pouring rain when I'm snuggled up in bed,
listening to traditional Christmas music in August,
reading Looking for Alaska in one night
and feeling absolutely refreshed in the morning, after a whole night of crying over
the beauty of John Green's words,
listening to "Harry's Wondrous World" on repeat and never getting sick of it
listening to "Theme from Jurassic Park" on repeat and never getting sick of it
okay, let's just go with all John Williams music in general,
and when I'm at church and the gospel of the day just somehow seems to relate to my life at that moment,
and singing "I Vow to Thee My Country" (which is to the tune of Jupiter),
and that moment of inspiration when I come up with a new plot twist,
and that awesome feeling that you get when you've been wanting to do something for a really long time, but you've been too scared to do it, and then finally you work up the courage to do it and it's just the best kind of feeling in the entire world,
and that moment of realization I get sometimes when I look around and see friends who are real,
(not that my imaginary friends aren't amazing too),
and chocolate cake,
and the smell of vanilla and lavender and cigarette smoke,
and the moment when you're at the top of the Dragster and anything is possible,
and the taste of sticky toffee pudding that you can only get at the Cramond Inn,
and dancing to the AVPM soundtrack when no one is around,
and when I read a really good sentence like "What's the speed of dark?"
and the fudge from the Fudge Kitchen on the Royal Mile,
and Scottish shortbread,
and the rare moment when I read something I've written and actually feel proud,
and the smell of old books,
and playing the flute,
and people-watching in the airport,
and getting prizes at Latin Convention,
and the colour blue,
and the sound of the ocean,
and clouds that are shaped like dragons,
and looking at the stars,
and crossing things off of my list of things-to-do with my brand-new sparkly crayons,
and shiny things
and making lists of my favourite things.
There are a lot more, but that's all I can think of for now. :) Also the 6LCF, of course, I love you guys so much.

Speaking of which, I believe our anniversary is this Friday, which means (if I am correct) that this is my very last Saturday post ever!!!! I will henceforth be posting on Tuesdays, and I sincerely hope that I will be able to live up to xiy's greatness.

Best wishes!
Virgil

P.S. Momo and Carrie's projects made it to ROUND 2 of our 9HD contests! Congrats, guys!
House and xiy might make it, but House does not wish for it to happen...GOOD LUCK ON MAKING IT!!!! =D

P.P.S. Virgil and I are doing 9HD too, but ours is due next week. We're doing a documentary, and I hope we'll do well. But then, Wifey and I make an awesome team, so we'll make it AWESOME! :)

"...These are a few of my favorite things!" ♫

So I suppose we are having a theme week this week about our favorite things, yes? Alright then, here are a few of Carrie's favorite things.  (Don't worry, I'll go more into detail later on; I just want to make a short list of some of my favowite things) :3 Fluffy kittens, techno music, good food, and warm laundry. *Sigh* Can my favorite things also be considered things that make me happy? If so, I think that would make for a very long list... let's begin then!
  • Pictures of fluffy kittens/ fluffy kittens in real life
  • That feeling of rain when it's warm outside
  • when my computer DOESN'T crash. *mumble*
  • cuddling :3
  • the 6LCFs (duh)
  • when my mother doesn't talk.
  • mah beau :) (sorry that some of you guys don't like him :( )
  • large, fuzzy blankets :)
  • long hugs :3
  • Mitchell Davis ♥ (youtube him)
  • techno music!
  • Saturdays (most of the time)
  • soft carpeting
  • (yes, I seem to like a lot of soft things)
  • plaid pajama pants
  • mustaches :{D
  • cream cheese and butter that comes in the tub, not bars
  • smiley faces
  • sunshine
  • cake (mmm... cake.)
  • writing
  • colored pens
  • sharpie markers
  • neon colors
  • optimism
  • life
Okay. Phew! I'm done! Yes, those are some of my favorite things! There's probably more, but I might get a bit carried away. Oh, hey, that was a slight pun. Lawlsies.
Um, yeah. So I began writing this in English, then I had to stop since we were supposed to be reading :P I  don't think my English teacher likes me too much. D: Oh well...
Um, I'm really tired. and I have a global studies quiz tomorrow. Ew.
Okay. You're awesome, did you know that?
Bye.
DFTBA!♥

Smiles, hugs, and lots of love,
Carrie

mah fayvrit

So starting today and ending next Monday, I believe that we will be doing a theme week on our favourite thing(s). Thus, I will begin.

Today, I will be showing to you all my recent crappy art, because a) I am lazy and b) this is theme week, and I like drawing.

Ahem. (<-This is supposed a segue. [I fail.])

"Cheer up, kid!" (APVS=♥)

This is what I do when I don't feel like drawing my self-portrait for the umpteenth time in art class.

Part of a doodle done in math class right before spring break.

This is how I imagine the Death Eaters from "99 Death Eaters" by Draco and the Malfoys.

Adventures in Greek class. (Which reminds me--I should probably go study. >.<)

 --

Also. Fencing was fun today. Instead of running 3/4 of a mile around the school, we did this "Indian run" thing around the courtyard, which was fun and not particularly tiring at all. And then we line-fenced and then played a game of King of the Hill, in which, predictably, the scariest SFEYO won.

House and I are officially done with 9HD! (Unless, of course, we get sent to the next level, in which then we have to do actual work again. >.>) :D OH, and speaking of 9HD, I found this hilarious .gif of Robespierre. It's on deviantart, so I don't think I'm allowed to actually repost it here, but this is the link, if you care to take a look. It's hilarious; trust me.

Aaaaand that's about it, I think. Have a nice Tuesday!

(ALSO ALSO FOR THE 6LCF: The tags for this week will be 'theme week' and 'favourite things,' mkay?)

Io Cerealia!!!

IO CEREALIA, EVERYBODY!!!!!!!! Today, in Ancient Rome, would be the holiday Cerealia. Cerealia was when the Romans would celebrate the goddess Ceres for bringing spring back and allowing them to harvest again. In modern Latin classes, it is celebrated by eating wheat (cereal) and fruit and pastries (like doughnuts and their holes). So that's what we did in Latin today.

Honestly, I think we should have this whole week off, though. Not only is today Cerealia and the first day of Passover, but it is Holy Week. We should get an entire extra week off, not just Friday.

We talked a lot about religion today in school. I don't mind, but today in science I was arguing with my teacher because she was like:

"You can be Christian and not believe in any of the stuff."

And I was like, "Umm...no, you can't because then you wouldn't be Christian".

Then she was like, "it's all a matter of opinion. If you just celebrate Christmas, you're a Christian."

To which I responded, "No, because you aren't celebrating it to commemorate Jesus being born, you're celebrating getting presents. It would be like if you started celebrating Kwanzaa because you like the colors or something. You wouldn't be considered a person celebrating African-Amereican heritage--"

And she politely replied "NO I AM ALWAYS RIGHT STOP MAKING ME LOOK STUPID!!!!"*

And then Lynda kindly raised her hand and said, "Seeing as I'm atheist, this conversation is making uncomfortable."

And our teacher screamed, "THANK YOU," the way she does every ten seconds to be even more obnoxious.

And I said, "See, now look what you started."

Then the whole class started arguing about how our teacher started the whole debate**.
All the while the entire class was simultaneously yelling and arguing. Ergh.

Anyway. <--#1 Segue right up in thur.

Since we are ninth graders (we've disclosed this info. already, right?) we get to do this super-de-duperdy *sarcasm*  fun project called Ninth Grade History Day. House, xiy, Carrie and I had to turn in our tri-fold boards today and the other classes still have, like, two more weeks to work on theirs. My group (Carrie, me, and another girl) did Elie Wiesel and House and xiy worked together (since they're in the same class) and did Robespierre.

I think both projects turned out swimmingly.

Before I go, I have an important message for all those who take/can read Ancient Greek and have read my Hillbilly Post:

θισ `υρ σπεσιμεν λοοκσ λικε δαρν ποο ον α στικ.

I'm off to see the wizard now. Toodles!!!

P.S. 11 DAYS TILL THE ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.P.S. PARTY AT MY HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.P.P.S. Fo realz, tho.
P.P.P.P.S. I'll try to remember the invites tomorrow.
OMG. Our math teacher was hyper today...

*She technically did not say these exact words, but...
**It started because we were talking about Passover and she asked how many Jews there were in the class and how many were actually celebrating Passover. Then she was talking about how you can be part of a religion and not believe in any of its ideals.

Here comes Peter Cottontail, hopping down the bunny trail, hippity-hoppity Easter's on its way!!!!

I got a perfect score on the National Latin Exam!! *celebration & frivolity*

Easter is a week from tomorrow XD I'm so excited. Reasons why I'm excited for Easter:

1. Jesus is alive (that's the obvious one)
2. Lent is over (I get to watch YouTube again!!!)
3. Sunny weather
4. Pretty flowers
5. Less than two months left of school!
6. Candy!!!!

Right now, there are big black clouds outside and it keeps raining, but then the sun comes out from the one teeny gap in the clouds like every ten minutes, and then it rains again. I love this kind of weather :) it reminds me of my homeland.

Today, Momo and xiy did really well in a fencing tournament (because there were only like four people there) and I didn't do well because I wasn't there because I was at a rehearsal. Then all three of us went to a thing called Kick-It, where we played kickball to raise money for pediatric oncology research. Chinese Club lost, but we had the coolest t-shirts.

Yesterday, House posted in our Facebook group that we should have a "Favorite Things" theme week. Does everyone think that would be fun? Shall we start on Monday?
I'm nearly halfway done with the Extra-Special Birthday Surprise that I'm making for you guys.
My kitty looks really cute sitting in the little patch of sun under the window. ^_^ She's so warm and happy.

I don't have time to write any more, because I have an English essay and I have to work on that Extra-Special Birthday Surprise.

Love,
Virgil

All the {Exciting} Things

(Note: Due to eccentric internet curfews, Lynda was unable to post yesterday.)
Hullo.

Today was the Day of Silence, which I think was pretty cool. A few kids at our school did it, and they’re winners, of course.

There are a few rather exciting things going on now/soon, which is rather exciting.
First of all, remember when the Latin students all took the National Latin Exam? So, out of forty, Momo got 33; I got forty; and Virgil got forty. Our entire school group of Latin students is pretty much super awesome and smart. It's quite nice to be able to celebrate the fact.
Second, our anniversary gets ever-nearer. We is preparing things.
Third, a couple of the Curly Fries are going to a fencing tournament thingy tomorrow! Best of luck beating the eighth graders representing our school and being overall fabulous.
Fourth, our {my, Carrie, Momo, and xiy's} history teacher does this 9HD thing, which is due Mondayyy. And I think we're supposed to be excited for that, though our teacher's kinda mental (love her tons, but she's a little mental), which will be... interesting ^.^
Also, I’ve been out and about a lot more.
No, I haven’t gotten a life. LOL why would that happen ever?
Rather, I’ve been getting off my lazy winter-embracing butt and gone running to get ready for soccer. It’s not fun >.< However, it’s still kinda fun. Now I can go to Chinese on the third floor and not be out of breath by the top! (okay, it wasn’t quite that bad.) {okay, almost.} I was going to go in here about how exercise makes you happier and stuff, but Vergil has bee n a PEEKING PEEKER WHO PEEKS and says my post is already long enough. So...

So yeah. Not much new happening this week... just pretty much the same stuff building up >.< kbai.

With all due respect,
House

"I have a bad habit of putting things in my mouth..." -Virgil

The quote used for the title, of course made for a very interesting moment at today's lunch table. Oh Virgil, how we love the things you say. :)

Uh, so today I walked home, and for those who know exactly when I live and how far away that is from my high school, know that that is a very very long and tiring walk. >.<  It was not fun. Especially having the temperature feel like it was 85 when it was 50. yeah, no fun. :/

Anyway, I'm alive now, which is good :)

oh, hey, I have a picture. :D
So, during spring break, we went to this 50s type restaurant and they had *CURLY FRIES* !
yum, curly fries. oh wait, that would mean that I'm eating all of you D: sorry.

Well, I think that's about it.
Oh, and happy almost anniversary. :D ♥
DFTBA♥

Smiles, hugs, and lots of love,
Carrie

haha I forgot a title

Hello there. Today has been rather a dreary day here in 6LCF-land. It's been warmer this week than it has been for a while, but (with the exception of last Sunday, which was wonderful, weather-wise) it's still been rainy or overcast nearly every single day in April so far. Ugh.

Those May flowers had better be worth all this effort.

Anyway.

(Actually, it's sunset right now and the trees look very pretty. Everything looks better with a sunset in the background.)

So in physics chemistry class, my teacher makes everybody keep a graph-paper composition book that is checked every so often for credit. The comp book is pretty much vital to your existence in that class, and if you lose it, she isn't at all sympathetic. So I have this really cheap thin one that managed pretty well last semester (the cover got kind of bent and I had to tape it up at bit, but otherwise it wasn't so bad); however, its counterpart for this semester (we need a new one for the new semester, which is stupid, because I didn't even use half of my old one's pages) isn't doing well at all. At least ten pages have fallen out completely (I had to first glue and then, when that failed, tape them in); the binding's really messed up; the cover's bent; my baby sister drew all over some of the pages.

Which means I get to play fix-the-comp-book on a weekly basis, until the thing is starting to look badly patched-up and not very nice at all. Pfft.

Aaaand. . . I really don't have much more to say today.

Goodbye?

xiy
