Anniversary, yo! Zomg I spelled that correctly!!! It /hasn't/ been a waste of a year!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, YOU GUYS <3 <3 <3 <3
YAY! We did it!
hooray!

A'ight. So what had happened was...
We were sitting at lunch, right? And we were bored because we were in middle school, and that's about all middle school seems ever to be for. Then the lights dimmed. Only a single brilliant beam of light shone down upon our dear Momo, who was suddenly struck with an idea. What about a collab blog? Kind of like the Five Awesome Girls of YouTube, except the Six Something Somethings of Some Blogging Site?
The six no-lifers were overjoyed at this concept. Writing? ZOMG FUN.
After much debate, they settled on House's idea for a name, the Six Little Curly Fries {capitalising "the" being optional}. Figuring internet anonymity would be a good thing, they chose nicknames quickly.
Magically, they each wanted different days. Hoorayyyy.
And so—after a little bit of site debate—this blog was borned.
After 365 days, the six had not made any major advances on getting actual lives, but the blog lived on. It now even has a couple of regular readers. They're still confused how that happened...
P.S. I still can't spell "anonymity," however. Nor can I pronounce it without rather embarrassing difficulty DX

Yayyy!

Today has been a pretty fun day. This week was spirit/theme week at our school, today being "retro day." I wore one of my aunt's old skirts and got lots of compliments, yay. Also, a lot of our teachers seemed in weirdly good moods... which is kind of worrying.

I got to finish off the afternoon with xiy, which can only be a good thing. usually.unless it's about 9HD.
We sat in the library and made edits to Virgil's beautiful story, which can be found somewhere to the right of this post. You all are very welcome. (Sorry for any silly mistakes... there was a rather irritating librarian behind xiy and I. She was bothering us to hurry up so she and the {less irritating} librarians could shut down and go home.)

You're probably getting bored with my rambling, so I'll leave you soon. But first, a Dichotomous Key:

Looks like you survived the Dichotomous Key! And I survived learning how to "Dichotomous Key!" Yay for too many vowels!

I now hand the post over to my fellow Curly Fries...
Goodbye, Friday! It has been so much fun :)
With all due respect,
House.

<3 Lynda:

<3 Virgil: I'm second!!! Woohoo!! That dichotomous key is amazing. I like #6. Haha. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO EVERYONE!!! I, unlike Momo, believed 100% that we would make it this far ^_^ because I'm an optimist. I'm excited to assume my new post as the Tuesday-poster (AHH IT'S PUN) and I'm SO PUMPED for our party at Momo's house. And Starship. OMG. And I might have another surprise (besides the fanfic, which you should all go read). I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!! <3

<3 Momo: I'M FIRST!!!!!!!!! Gosh. I had to do that ^ thing twice before I got it right. You wanna know why? Because 11 does not equal 16. oops. my b. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!! I remember when we had our first monthiversary, I boldly declared that I didn't think we'd ever last this long but if we did, it would be SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!!!! So, yeah. Tomorrow, at our party, we will be enjoying more gifts, partying, STARSHIP!!!, food, and the awesomeness of each other. Yay! I am so pumped. I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3

<3 xiy: I'm. . .third! But! Third is a perfectly respectable position, especially when there are six total Curly Fries, which means that the third person is the halfway point. :D Anyway, ONE-YEAR=FANTABULOUSNESS. I am so very happy we made it this far. It's totally awesome. ♫ Tomorrow's going to be very fun, and I'm quite excited, and oh gosh just FLAILSQUEE. I LOVE THE 6LCF. Yayyyyyyyyyy! ^.^

<3 Carrie: *reminiscent sigh* It feels like only yesterday... sitting at lunch with the other 5. Oh, what wonderful memories!!! :D And tomorrow we gonna PAR-TAY!!! At Momo's house :D excitingexcitingexciting!!! this weekend is about to be AWESOME! anyway, I loooooove my fellow curly fries and all of their awesomeness. And just how flipping FANTASTIC this whole entire year has turned out to be :) I would have never expected it to last this far. (well, I totally did, but I want to say that I didn't so that my reflection has "depth". :P )

(Also: Here is pt. II of xiy's anniversary-themed drawings (pt. I being the banner up thar) :

The Results Are In!

After a very successful theme week, the results of who parodied whom are finally in. Below you will see the name of all six of the curly fries. Throughout the day, each of us will be filling in who parodied that person. For example: Momo: <-- the name of the person being parodied/ the name of the parodier--> Yo Mama. Got it? Good.

Momo: Lynda (this isn't Lynda writing this... but she was the only one left hehe) Haha, yes, it was me. Obviously, the person who wrote ^ wasn't me, cuz I changed the shade of blue into one I never use. It was fun!

xiy: Carrie. My B, guys... I got confused on how results were gonna go... and I wasn't able to get on yesterday. but yep, it was Carrie! :D

Carrie: Everybody thought it was Virgil, but, no, it was me. Your friendly neighborhood dictator. ♥ ~xiy

Lynda: Hahaha that was really fun, you guys. I wuv you, Lynnie Lyn! ♥ ~House AHA! I KNEW IT WAS YOU! YOU WERE TOO HAPPY WITH YOUR NAME! I KNEW IT! teehee!

House: Virgil did this one!! ^_^ yayyy <3 it was jolly good fun! ~Virgil you. misused. a. hyphen. *retreats into corner and cries*

Virgil: Momo did this parody!!!!!!!!!!! However, she apologizes for messing up the colors of Virgil's post (wrong shade of red) and for the post's shortness. Oooh! Christmas colors! ~Momo

Happy Valentine's Day!

I've noticed that no one's posted today for Valentine's like we were planning. Anyway, Happy Valentine's Day! May you all get fat off of chocolate and get as many stupid love cards as your tiny hands can gather. Also, enjoy some cheap flowers and stuff. Wee!
Did you ever notice that there are always a tremendous amount of birthdays in late October and November? Count nine months from Valentine's. There's your solution. Bamf. Guess who was born in November? Just putting that out there.*

Here's a poem to celebrate the day:

And also, because I know we all love each other so much, I give you my heart. Made out of chocolate:

-Momo

And I, xiy, present to you, inspired by Alex Day's wonderful song "Holding On":
I'll bake a chocolate cake for you, with tiers up to the moon.
Happy Valentine's Day. May you consume lots of delicious chocolate!

House's turn!
I present to you all the magical gift of PINK. Made it specially for you :D
{p.s. I freakin love Hello Kitty}
Hope you guys had a lovely Monday :)
~House
I, Lynda present to you a lovely GIF that I made especially for Valentine's Day! The theme is wuv....I mean, LOVE.
make a gif

P.S. Feel free to add to this post, guys!

*note that these are the things Momo would bring up during lunch at the table...

CONVENTION IS IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS ZOMG

I'm so excited! Latin Convention is quickly approaching, and I can't wait. It's so great that we have something to look forward to in February, which is, overall, a terrible month.

A list of reasons why I don't like February:
10. So much homework. Teachers feel obligated to make second semester harder than first semester, because that way it seems like we're making progress.
9. It' so cold. The temperature this time of year makes me want to curl up in my bed and refuse to get up until April.
8. The cold makes me fat because I eat chocolate when I'm cold.
7. Ice. It's not fun. It's cold (see #9 and #8) and it's slippery and therefore is the source of many bruises on Virgil's poor posterior. Ice = bad.
6. Snow. It's nice in December when it's all white and fluffy, but now that it's been sitting there for a couple months it's all brown and gross and gets all over everything.
5. There's so much pink everywhere because of Valentine's Day. I don't mind Valentine's Day, but I HATE PINK.
4. The sun hardly ever comes out in February. The sun came out today, and it was probably the first time all month. That is sad. Which leads to #3:
3. The lack of sunshine and blue sky makes people depressed, like legit - clinical depression gets worse, which leads to #2:
2. More people commit suicide. Suicide = not good. It is very sad.
1. Did I already mention the COLD?

So yeah, now I'm done complaining.

Here are some things that I like about February:
4. Valentine's Day = <3
3. Sledding! (I haven't been sledding in ages, but it makes chilluns happy, and happy chilluns = good)
2. People who keep their Christmas lights up make me happy.
1. LATIN CONVENTION YAYY!!!!

So that's a 5:2 ratio of things that I don't like about February : things that I do like.
For most months, that ratio is more like 1:3, which is a much happier ratio.
Therefore, I have mathematically proved that February = bad. Even the Romans thought so! They named it after the word for fever, and fever is bad.

Now I'm going to talk about parody week, which shall be next week. 6LCF - you have all received the email which assigned you your Curly Fry whom you shall parody. Here is your assignment:
1. On your assigned person's day, you shall post. (The person who has Momo will post on Monday, etc.)
2. Post in that person's color.
3. Write it like a stereotypical post of said person - make fun of her, but DON'T BE MEAN. >:(
4. People can guess who wrote said post, but we will NOT be revealing who is who until the end of the week, or else it'll be no fun for the people at the end of the week.

Um, that's about it. Anyone else have rules they feel should be added? Leave them in the comments and I'll edit them in.

I think tomorrow (Sunday) we're doing a joint group-post for Valentine's Day, even though the holiday is actually Monday - unless the person who is Momo has an idea for a Valentine's Day post. If you are that person, please comment anonymously and let us know that you want to do the Valentine's Day post.

In other news - I'm starting a new novel called The Second Star to the Right, and xiy and/or House and/or anyone else who wants to (besides my immediate family, who are not allowed to read anything I write) are invited to be my Official Editors.

This is a long post. I hope it didn't take too much effort for you to read it. Kudos if you stuck with me 'til* the end!

Happy Valentine's Day in advance!
Virgil

*I hate it when people say "till" when they mean "until" because it sounds like they're saying, "Xanthias, till the soil, for the field is small but the work is large" so I always say 'til.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Sorry for the bad quality; the picture was taken by webcam because (a) xiy doesn't have a scanner [*sadface*] and (b) she was too lazy to take a legit camera-picture.
~Happy Thanksgiving from the Six Little Curly Fries!~

YAY!!! It's Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving break too! It's my day to post today, but since it's also THANKSGIVING, I'm giving up my post, so that everyone of the Curly Fries (and I mean everyone. Lately the ALL curly fry posts have been a bit lacking in ppl who actually POST IN IT, >:( So EVERY CURLY FRY MUST POST TODAY :)) can post what they are thankful for this Thanksgiving. Please also post a quick summary of what you, the reader, are thankful for this Thanksgiving in the comments!

*note* Curly Fries, also post something about what you are doing for Thanksgiving
Anyways, as we are all so excited about eating turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatas n' gravy, blah blah blah...and all sorts of things, let's get posting about what we love to eat too! YAY!!!...Actually, how about this, Curly Fries must post on what they are thankful for (at least 3, and please have at least one original idea-something other than "family, friends"...you can have those as the other 2, ok?), and choose one of the following: 1)What you are planning on eating, or 2)What you are planning on doing.
Our faithful readers (from Canada?), feel free to join in the comments!
Luv, Lynda
P.S. Watch the Macy's parade! It's fun. :)

Momo: 1.) I am thankful for many of the same things as xiy already mentioned (she was the first to fill this in) and a lot more. I just came back from feeding homeless people in our city and it was really fun and I realized how much more stuff I have than them. I am thankful that I have a house, computers with keyboards, turkeys who so bravely give their lives for our dinners, telephones, genetics, this blog and the people who are part of it, Hyperbole and a Half, my family, God (sorry, but I had to bring in religion), school breaks, my camp, German food and the people who make it, my cats, tooth paste, eyes, all 6 of my senses, water, stairs, rocks, the sky, Greek and Latin, math, Science Olympiad, good books, music, and a lot more. I am thankful that I am alive and that I don't have a fatal disease or anything.
2.) I already said that I fed the homeless and now my mommy and I are going to cook. Then we're going to a friend's house for a feast!!!

xiy: What xiy is thankful for:
friends/family (duh); books; blogs; the Internet; sunsets; summer vacation; the discovery of fire; planetariums; indoor plumbing; the fantasy genre; good music; chocolate; squishable sheep named Archie; the ability to draw; red pandas; curly fries and Curly Fries; plums; unicorns named Hector; windy days; school holidays; cats; air; the human circulatory system; evolution; trees; smoothies; webcomics (xkcd, Fey Winds, and FreakAngels in particular); Gimp/Photoshop; WiFi; pillows; tea with peppermint; snow(y) days; and I can't think of any more as of right now, but there's definitely loads more.

Lynda is coming over today for Thanksgiving. We're going to have a giant Chinese Thanksgiving party tonight, involving much yummy food and a lot of little kids running around.

Carrie: Herro! :) I already had my quite delicious thanksgiving feast with the fam. and my mother is making a 15-pound turkey. I don't know why. But now my whole house smells strongly of Turkey ^_^ and I get to have a whole 'nother thanksgiving on Saturday. Today was the one with my dad's family, and on Saturday I'm having it with my mom's family. Soooo lots of food and possibly 10 pounds for me. Eh, it's 'kay. I'll sleep it off. ;) I'm thankful for a lot this holiday season. I'm thankful for my loving family and friends and everyone I'm lucky to have in my life right now! I'm thankful for the fact that no one in the family has passed since there have been some close calls. I'm thankful for the roof over my head and heat that keeps me warm. I'm thankful for all of the people I have met, whether they've stuck around or not. I'm thankful for all of the fantastic experiences I've had in my life. And finally I'm thankful to be blessed with this life and all of the happiness it's brought with it. :) Love y'all! xo ♥ Carrie

Lynda: Thankful for: food, money, ranting, blogs, internet, computer, my brain, my body parts, friends/family, life, fanfiction, writing, NaNoWriMo buddies, Crew Break Month:), Birthday, 6LCF, and most of what everyone else said :)
Going over to xiy's house to play cards(actually, I already went), eat, talk, play ping-pong...OMIGOSH! I played ping-pong, 1st time in my life, not that bad at it...The ping-pong ball just liked to bounce off the ceiling a lot whenever I hit it...or just fly over xiy's head :)

House:

Virgil: Do I really have to list everything I'm thankful for? I'd be here all day. Uh, general things: God, friends, family, a nice house, books, libraries, fantastic people like J.K. Rowling, and... uh... yeah basically everything fits in those categories. I am going to my grandparent's house for the long weekend to see them and my aunt and uncle and cousins and other people. We will talk about politics and Israel and other things that don't really interest me that much, but that's okay.

XOXOXO
~6LCF~

We ♥ Carrie!

Happy, happy, happy, happyhappyhappyhappy birthday, Carrie! I hope your day was totally awesome! ^.^
This is a post in which the other five Curly Fries extol our wonderful Carrie's many virtues so that everybody is aware how awesome she is.
I'll start.

Carrie is such a wonderful, kind person; she's always a good listener and never mean. She is very good at hugging people. ^.^ She is a very good friend; all her posts are upbeat and they pull me out of my cloud of school-induced, why-in-the-world-is-the-week-only-half-over-why-is-it-not-Friday-yet gloom. She also taught me how to make perty hearts. ♥♥♥ <-See?
Have a great rest-of-your-birthday, Carrie!

Momo:Ooops...hehe...I haven't checked 6LCF since yesterday, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CARRIE! You are a very sensitive soul (I sound like an old fortune teller) and you love everybody. You are a very enthusiastic floutist and I'm thinkin' you and House are gonna be leadin' Symphonic Band. You also support my daily fanatics (which I know may sometimes be a little too...eccentric) and laugh at my jokes. I think the rest of the curly fries covered my ideas. Gosh. I was gonna say that. Well,  happy birthday again!

Lynda:

House:HAPPY (er, belated) BIRTHDAY! I hope you had a super awesome one; you deserve it. Can't wait to see you as my stand partner in Symph Band ;D lylal [love ya like a liek], House.

Virgil: Carrie is one of the sweetest people I know :) she's very  generous (she always acquiesces when I  beg her for food at lunch. Hardly anybody else does!) and kind and awesome and amazing. I've never known Carrie to say anything intentionally mean to/about somebody. She deserves to have a freaking awesome birthday. <3 <3 We love you, Carrie!

Peaches, Brief Bit on Canada, and...er...(you guys have a label called, "Lynda punishment"???)My Punishment

Ok...So to start off with, I'm back from Canada. Umm. I'm also back from picking peaches today (yum). Ahh... My punishment. So, I'm ok with the 5000 words thing. It'll be a pain, yes, but it's not humiliating (unless I go off and ramble about something embarrassing). Um. NO. Virgil, all I can say is that you are evil to bring up the NaNoWriMo novel idea. (Oh gosh, I've just realized that saying that will make you guys a bit leaning-y to that...but I can't erase it cuz my backspace thing won't work) Ah. Canada was fun. It's much like the USA. Ummm. Yeah. A lot of things are really different though. I'll just mention a few here, and go on about my trip on my own blog (so I can beef it up a bit). The water. It's HORRID. As in, OMIOSH-I-will-never-drink-this-again-it'll-kill-me-and-I'm-dying-for-a-drop-of-Deer-Park!!!(Deer Park is a brand. I suppose there's supposed to be a copyright/TM/SM/R thingy) The, ah, languageS. It's cool when I flip over the Oreos container, and see FRENCH. *giggles madly* Anyways. Peaches. Oh, my, gosh. It's killing me. The itchiness of the peach fuzz! I think I've become allergic to anything and everything. I got this huge itching urge, and I know it's itchy on everyone else, but my skin turned reddish, and I just couldn't stop scratching! Washing with soap and water did help. The peaches this year (my mom+cousin say that the White Lady peaches mixed with the yellow ones) were not that great. I think the past few years were better, I would know, because we've gone there for 10 years in a row (talk about dedication+loyalty!). Though, last year, we couldn't pick them, we had to buy the expensive already picked ones at the farm. Ummm.. Ok. Lastly, onto my "punishment". Er. Guys? Aren't y'all getting a bit too excited? I'm mainly talking about xiy and House. (The text block, xiy, the text thing!) (The happiness, House, the mentioning it in every one of your comments and posts!) Ah. oh, I wanted to ask something. Virgil, are you sure this is the 100th post? The post thing said this is 95. If it is, I believe I ruined it for you...again? Ahaha...
Alright. I'm done. I know this isn't something so awesome that it's posted on a Sunday, but no one else posted, so I thought it would be ok. Besides, isn't my punishment extremely important-ish? So, I'm connected to it. In a way.
Cya,
Lynda

Momo's Letter!

Ah! A ray of light in our too-hot-summer existence!
Momo has sent us a letter from camp!
[Now, I know this isn't my day to post, but, heck, 's an exciting event, right?]
Below is my [xiy's] transcription of said letter.
All spelling and grammar has been preserved.
---
To My Dearest Curly Fries:
June 24, 2010

Hello, everybody! This is Momo...if you couldn't already tell. I am sitting here on the top bunk of my lonely bunkbed here at camp, and decided I should write a letter. Right now it is nap time here, but I don't do naps. I am being serenaded by the lovely "cawings" of crows/ravens and loons. It's actually getting quite annoying. How was Virgil's birthday, I'm guessing you already celebrated it because we have snail mail here...and you'll probably get this in a month or something. Camp is so far really fun. I'm here for High School credit so we have actual classes. I am in the highest class (WOOT, WOOT) and we are talking about Youth Culture. Our first project is coming up this week, we'll have 5 in all. I'm also in the newspaper group, out first paper comes out tomorrow. We started yesterday...the school newspaper should try brainstorming, writing, printing/distributing a newspaper in 3 days (and in another language). The only bad thing about the newspaper here is that we work on computers with internet, but we can't use the internet for fun!!! :(
Alright, now to make this letter more personalized, I will write you each a little letter:

To Carrie: Hi!!! I hope you are having a fun summer! You would really like this one girl in my house, you are really similar! I hope you and "A" are still together and not being naughty!

To House: Dude!!! House! Your camp is GHETTO! It's actually a Christian camp (haha) that was transformed. The food is supposedly not great and it makes you constipated, but a 7 yr.-old told me that soo...
P.S. I'm sure Easy has told you all about it...

To Lynda: Hi, buddy! Are you surviving your two lovely siblings? I decided to sent this letter to your house because I figured you'd be most excited...you get excited easily. Anyway, when House gets mad at me, I nominate you to say "Easy" a lot. :)

To Virgil: Happy Birthday! I hope you had a wonderful time celebrating with the Curly Fries! One of my classmates gets to meet J. K. Rowling this summer, I thought you'd like to know. Have fun at Infinitus!

To xiy: Hello, xiy! How have you been? Have you been keeping busy? I do hope you posted Virgil's birthday picture, it was super cool. Don't get bored, OK? I miss your witty comments! Bye!

Okay, I'll have to start homework (yes, I have homework, but it's fun) soon. I expect letters soon, or perhaps one GIANT letter! I hope someone posts this...

Questions:
1. Do you have my address?
2. Did this come reasonably quickly?
3. Without doing anything to in any way help you answer this... Hast du Mich verstanden?

Happy Birthday, Virgil!!!

Today is June 30, 2010. There is a significance to today, as all readers should know. We've been talking about it for ages and ages and ages! Today is Virgil's BIRTHDAY!!! SHE'S TURNING [*beep* Due to security reasons, this message has been censored *beep*]!!! OMIGOSH!!! We're all so happy for her birthday, and that is why the whole blog has changed. The background, the glitter, the animation, the sparkles, the heading, and the proportions too! There are two videos which you should have noticed; one is Virgil's very own Google Search Story. The other is from our distant friend, Momo. Momo's at German Camp, so she can't be with us on this fantabulous day. She made a video a while back and ordered me to upload it on our blog when this special day came. IT HAS COME!!! So watch it. Look at the blog's glory. Gawp at it. Worship it. READ THIS POST...obviously. Now the CURLY FRIES will each write their own little section, about what they like best about Virgil, what they would've gotten Virgil if they had a million dollars to spare, and whatever else they want to write, about VIRGIL. The birthday gal. Virgil's name is also included, she can write her reaction to the festivities. It's optional, so Virgil, dearie, you don't have to write. (In honor of Virgil, the title, is in RED, her colour)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, VIRGIL!!!
House: VIRGIL AHHH IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY AHHH HAPPY BIRTHDAYYY!!! (Because I'm at my summer house, and I wasn't clever enough to plan a month ahead, I can't get your birthday present to you... -.-" But what I did was make a nice little slideshow of pictures that remind me of you, which you can watch to the left [to the left, to the left... yes? No. Okay.] of here.) What I like best about Virgil is that she's always happy and nice and cheery and faithful [... that sounds awk, sorry] and yeah ^_^ If I had a million dollars to spare, I'd hire Dan Brown and Dan Brown and Natalie and Daniel Radcliffe and the Vlogbrothers and James Galway and "Mrs. O'Hart" to come over to Virgil's house to help celebrate her birthday. [lolz, sorry. Didn't see Lynda's bit. Uh, then I'd get any people that Lynda's million didn't cover. And I'd hire an agent and legit editor/publisher/whatever for her soon-to-be bestselling books that she's gonna write.]
Momo: [See video to left]
Carrie: Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dear Virgil!!!! Happy birthday to you!!!! And many moreeee... Well, I guess this is my post for today *frump* but as long as Virgil has the most amazing spectacular fantastic day, that's absolutely perfect with me! It's a bit hard to point out a few things that I love about Virgil, since I love everything about her! She's smart, funny..no,no she's hilarious! She always has a way to make anyone smile. :) I love how random she is. Like, if there's an akward silence, you can almost always count on Virgil to break it. Virgil is probably the absolute best writer and flute player I've ever met. And I love how she's modest about it, even though she's frickin' amazing. She's just been such a good friend to me these past years, and hopefully many years to come. To say the least, I wouldn't be the same person I am today if I never met her. FLUTE PLAYERS FTW! (<-- teehee! Sorry, couldn't resist.) I love you, girliee! ♥
Lynda:Oh dear. I started this but I have no idea what to write. I guess I'll start with what I like best about Virgil. I like how Virgil is always so crazy and obsessed with Harry Potter. She's always so nice to everyone. If I'm feeling pretty crappy, just seeing her little antics will make me laugh. I love how she loooovees curly fries, and how we named the blog, and ourselves after (admit it, it was named after Virgil's obsession) her favorite school food, curly fries. She always begged for curly fries from me and xiy because we got school lunches all the time. Ummm...of course, I like her because she's bloody brilliant, funny, Englishy, and because she's my fiancee!!! If I had a million dollars, I'd probably get Jo (JK Rowling) to go and visit Virgil, along with teh MuggleCast guys, Dan Brown, and ummm...Hank+John Green. I'd also buy her that roller coaster, Top-Thrill Dragster(TM/C/R), cuz she likes it so much(she can share it with Momo, I'm sure she'd be a good little girl, and share)and I'd get her tons of B&N or Borders giftcards. Happy Birthday, Virgil!
xiy: [Just a short note before I get to the good stuff: Lynda, Lynda, Lynda. You really need to work on your commas. Most of the commas in the introduction were quite unnecessary, young lady. But since I don't want to be a buzzkill on such a "fantabulous," as you put it, day...] HAPPY BIRTHDAY, [note the comma!] VIRGIL!! AHH!
Soo... Am I supposed to list what I would hypothetically give you, Virgil? All right. We could...let's see... I'd get you a pass for the movie theater so that you could go see HP+DH as many times as you'd want (that sort of thing probably doesn't exist, but oh well). Or a time machine to go back to Rome. But time-traveling scenarios rarely work out well, so maybe not. OOH! I know! We could go to one of those re-enactment fair things (like a Renaissance fair, y'know?) for ROME. And then you could experience it all without any time-traveling side effects (i.e., getting killed accidentally)! And you could hone your mad Latin skillz.
Anyway, presents aside, today is most certainly a very special day.
We love you much, Virgil! ^.^ Have fun today! There's only one a year, after all.
VIRGIL:You guys are made of so much awesome that you just don't know what to do with it, do you? I guess I'll start off by saying that I love ya'll very much, and I couldn't ask for better friends. Siriusly. If I had a million dollars to get myself a birthday present, hm... that's tough. I quite like Lynda's idea of getting to meet all those people. I might just buy a million dollars' worth of books. Or I'd pay for us six Curly Fries to go on a vacation to Venice... hehe... or the Disney Cruise. <3

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day!!! :)

Lookie! It's a daddy dinosaur with his little dinosaurs ^_^
(How can I tell it's the daddy, and not the mommie, you ask?
Because the mommie would be pink, or she'd have a bow,
or she'd be making a sammich, or something.
Bottom line: It's the daddy ^_^)
Poor daddy-dinosaur... He got himself and the kids lost just 'cause he wouldn't listen to the mommy and take along a map. Whoopsie. =.=

To the Six Little Curly Fries:

1) ADD TO THIS POST!
2) Below: What are you doing to celebrate your dad on Father's Day?

Momo: First of all, I'd like to say this is a very nice Father's Day post thing. Well, today I am going to camp, which will make my daddy sad, but he'll live. We sort of celebrated yesterday with a home-made waffle breakfast with strawberries, ice cream, and whipped cream. I made a lovely card and drew pretty pictures on it. :) Today we went to church, and tonight, the rest of my family is going to dinner...I think. That's all!
xiy: I made my daddy breakfast this morning (fried egg, some cantaloupe, and toast). I've yet to give him a card, though (*shiftyeyes*); but I told him I love him very much, which is what the card does too anyway. But I will give him a card--it's traditional, after all. And it makes everyone happy, which is nice (and I gave one to my mother, so I don't want there to be any unfairness). :)
Carrie: Oh wow.... sorry guys. I actually did not know about this post. =/ But anyhoo, me and my dad went to the zoo. That was fun. We went all the way up to the northern trail, and at the zoo in where we live, that is a very very long walk. In fact, we walked the entire day! And had tons of fun, so it was worth it. Then, after that my dad's parents took us to Bob Evans for dinner. It was De-lic-ious. I think that my dad liked his fathers' day very much. ♥
Lynda: Oh my, this is all so pretty! So today's Father's Day...Ahh...I have yet to do anything for my dad, hehehe...Umm...well, this is sort of because he's at the lab, so I haven't seen him all day, and well... I didn't wake up at like 8 to make breakfast for him cuz I'm rather lazy. I did however, make a pretty card last week, and all that's left is to print it out, and hand it to him when he get's home!
I also sent him a very pretty ecard.I would've sent a personalized video thing from JibJab, but I'm not a "member"(paying...it's not expensive, but, I can't really pay online seeing as I don't have a bank account...). Ah well. I don't think we'll be going to some large dinner thing, we're having yummy noodles at home. Then again, we always have yummy noodles...Oh dear, this is rather long.
Anyways, if my dad's reading this, which he should, if he gets my email to read this, Happy Father's Day, Dad! I love you!
House: I woke up and made my dad a card filled up with lots of inside jokes that we have made up for the past... like, ever. (Where did you think I got my amazing sense of humour from? Daddy, of course.) And then my mum and dad ran out to the bagel place to get bagels for breakfast, since we realised after a bit that we have no food. In the house. At all. (Well, some Frosted Mini-Wheats. But whatever.) Later today, we are going over to my grandparents' house to have a really big (Italian) family dinner/lunch/gathering thingy :)
Virgil: Um... on Father's Day morning, I told my dad that I loved him and then I left for camp. A week later, he left for Boston. Fifteen minutes after that, I got home from camp. Sooo sawdy.

Duddddeeeee.

Right, so:

We (the Six Little Curly Fries) have just gotten back from our end-of-the-schoolyear trip to an amusement park, Cedar Point.  And I don't really think it's fair to have just one person cover the entire trip's ~9 hour glory, so I'd like for the Curly Fries to fill in their thoughts about the day here:

(Caveat: Momo and Virgil went on this mentally fast, mentally mental, mental, mental ride called The Top Thrill Dragster.  They're still pumped, I'm sure.  Be prepared.)

Carrie:*Sigh* I would've liked to go on more rides, but I ended up not suceeding my goal. Although, Lynda, xiy and I did go on a couple of the rides. We went on the Ferris Wheel and that little-ish kid ride that was actually kind of exciting and the Skyhawk and that swing one. We were also going to go on the Iron Dragon but didn't. Well, next time I shall take a risk and go on some of the rides I missed out on...and possibly some I was afraid to go on. But I had fun today, otherwise, just being with my buddies and completely beasting in the arcade (only in my opinion). And now I have a purple pillow and a blue dinosaur, of which I have come to name Nom-noms, to remember my fine fine day at Cedar Point.
Lynda:
Momo:
Virgil: Oh, we had a jolly good time. Momo and I succeeding in going on the "mentally mental" Top Trill Dragster (that's 120mph up and down a gazillion feet in seventeen seconds) and it was SO EPIC. (AHH LUDI AHH) The rest of the rides for the remainder of the day seemed quite tame in comparison, but they were still very fun. We threw our hands up and screamed at the top of our lungs anyways. We're cool like that. We also went on this one ride which isn't very scary (but extremely fun) called the Sky Hawk, which is basically like a swing set on steroids. I ate plenty of unhealthy food and then took a nap on the bus ride home (listening to Harry Potter film scores on my iPod), so it was overall a successful class field trip. We should totally do it again sometime. Okay, now I'm off to write my own post.
xiy: Haha, I had fun today. I most certainly did not go on any roller coaster that was even remotely dangerous-looking (a "dangerous" roller coaster in my mind being anything that 1) goes upside down, and 2) has extremely tall hills and extremely sharp drops), but I still had loads of fun. My throat's a bit sore as well. (the long explanation of said sore throat in 3, 2, 1...)There was this really tame ride called the "Cedar Point Mine Ride" or somesuch. The hills were of middling height, so we'd go up a steep-ish hill, but the going-down bit was totally lame and involved, generally, a series of small dips. Ergo, (Latin!) Virgil, Momo, and House, followed by me (did you join in as well, Lynda?), had to spice things up a bit. Every single time the ride even thought about tipping slightly, they let loose a horrible, ear-torturing series of shrieks and "OH MY GOD!"s. So it was quite fun, in the end.
I had a funnel cake too ^.^; the powdered sugar in particular was quite yummily delicious. And I also ate some French fries (I split 'em with Lynda). And I had some Dippin' Dots (TM? R? C? I dunno what trademark abbrev. I should add to the end) ice cream. I was hungry when I came home. My legs are a bit sore, but it's definitely worth it.

Anyway, I thought that Cedar Point was quite fun.  My throat hurts quite a lot, which means that the day was a success in terms of screaming and celebrating summer and such.  We got rained on partway through, which was kind of annoying, but then the sun came back out and it was really really bloody hot ^_^  As far as food went, I ended up consuming 1) fries, 2) Icees, 3) funnel cakes, and 4) water, all of which are incredibly healthy, so I'm having a salad with extra healthy vegetable stuffs for dinner :)

... hm, what else?

Oh, yeah.  Dude, it's summer!! Ahh!!! We've all got free time and no homework and no schedules now... dude.(!!!!!!!! :D)  It's going to take some time to get used to this feeling again ("some time" meaning a few days).  *Sniff, sniff* We're growing up.

[*Is now cutting it short because I've got to go eat my nice dinner*]

Questions:
1) What is your favourite shade of nail polish (finger and/or toe) to wear on yourself?
2) WASN'T CEDAR POINT TODAY AMAZING, AHHHHH?!?!?!
3) Don't three interrobangs in a row look legit?
4) How's it going?
5) [Refer to question four:] No, seriously. [<- A statement in the form of a question, yeah.]
6) What are your five favourite television programmes?

Hopefully, you had a lovely day too.

With all due respect,
House

P.S. Dudeee, the World Cup has finally started! Ahhhhh ludi ahhhhh!!!!

What time is it? Summer TIME!!!!

WOOHOOO!!! IT'S SUMMER!!!! VACATION!!! TODAY WAS OUR LAST half DAY OF SCHOOL!!! We all dressed up prettily, and graduated...*sniff sniff* we're all going to different colleges....I'll miss y'all! JK, we're only going into high school... After the "promotion ceremony"/"Recognition Ceremony", we walked to J.Pistone's and ate lunch; afterward, we went to Virgil's house. Tomorrow, we're going to a fun place called....Cedar Point [an amusement park]!! I'm not going to be able to do much, since I am terrified of roller coasters, though I can't wait for the water rides, they should be fun. As I think today is too big of a day for me to write alone (we're high-schoolers now!), I now ordain this as a collaborative post.
P.S. Today, I finished My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult. I love to read, and Jodi Picoult is an awesome author. The book is soooooo sad...I cried, and so my mascara ran, and now I have long black streaks going down my cheek *sigh*
P.P.S. The title was inspired by High School Musical 2. It fits beautifully, we're going into high school, and it's summer!
P.P.P.S. Oops!! I forgot my questions! Thank you Momo!
1. If you were a butterfly, what colors would you be?
2. What type of fruit do you think I, Lynda, am?
3. Turn to whoever, and whatever is next to you, what is it? (Please don't say "air", "space", "oxygen", etc.)
4. Have you ever read a Jodi Picoult book, if so, which do you like the best?
Luv, Lynda
Lynda: I've already written, as this is technically my post, and a collaborative post...I'm allowed to do that right?
Virgil: I am so glad that it's finally summer :) this year has gone by so fast yet not fast enough. The amusement park was fun. (I'm adding this on Saturday because I'm a bum and forgot to check the blog yesterday and the day before that.) Lynda, you didn't specify what you wanted me to write about, so...uh, questions. 1) see-through sparkle rainbow 2) a pineapple 3) My big sister is sitting at her computer right there <--- 4) I think the only one I've ever read is My Sister's Keeper and I thought that it was very good.
House:

Momo: Haha! I'm the first to write (besides Lynda)!!! I am super duper excited for the amusement park tomorrow! I guess I'm also pretty pumped that we're done with school too though.... Um, Lynda didn't quite specify what we were supposed to write about...so I'm a little at a loss. I read  My Sister's Keeper a while back and it was soooo good! I also love Jodi Picoult and have read, like, 9 of her books. I don't think I cried at the end...maybe teary-eyed but it was a given that someone would die...no spoilers. Okay. That's all. [Lynda forgot to ask a question!!!!!]
xiy: My Sister's Keeper wasn't that bad. I did cry a tiny tiny bit at the end, after a certain somebody dies, but that's it. It was a good book. Handle With Care was a good one as well.
Yeah, happy summer! Cedar Point should be fun. Four of the curly fries aren't the biggest fans of roller coasters (though House'll go on the middling-dangerous-looking-ones), so we'll watch Momo and Virgil scream as they go on the really high, really scary one (i.e., the "Top Thrill Dragster"). I really don't have terribly much to say, except that I do kind of miss middle school already, in a kind of warped way. I'll miss a lot of my teachers, though some *coughcoughMrs."Land"coughcough* I won't miss at all.
Whee, high school. Here's to hoping we'll all make it out okay.
...By the way, Lynda dearest, whenever did you get mascara?
Carrie: Oh my, now I have HSM 2 stuck in my head...Anyhoo, Yay!!!! SUMMER! Here's my small list of things I plan on accomplishing 1) Finish The Odyssey  2) Sleep. 3) Prepare for my exciting and thrilling trip through high school. 4)  sleep some more 5) Do some other stuff... So far, my first and a half days of summer have been ok. Maybe yesterday wasn't the best (I was really out of it....) but I still had fun, and today has been ok. The rest will just keep getting better. (: SUMMMERRRRISHEREEEE!!!! *starts jumping up and down* okey dokey. Well, that is all I have to say. Have a nice day. (heh, I did not mean for that to rythm.)
