1 1/2 More Days of School!

I am happy. School ends on Thursday (though there's this trip to an amusement park on Friday that I believe all of the curly fries are going to--we all are, right?), and Wednesday's basically a free day anyway (nothing is structured except for the "promotion ceremony rehearsal");* therefore, I am happy. This has been a good, if fast, school year.
Hrm. There was a lot of yearbook-signing going on at school today. Nothing of any particular note happened.
Over the summer, I suppose I'm going to start outlining my NaNoWriMo 2010 novel [because I'm an overachiever and because I have no life]. NaNoWriMo, for those of you who don't know, is an international writing "competition" during November. You try to write 50,000 words in 30 days, and it is intense. If you hit 50K or above, you win, and you get special winner goodies as a reward, and plus you can go on this website and make your lovely manuscript into book form. Virgil, Momo, Lynda, and I did NaNoWriMo this past year (2009), and all of us hit 50,000 words and won. Virgil donated some $$ to NaNo, and so she gets a perty halo by her username. The reason I'm outlining my novel five months early is that I got hit with this totally awesome idea a few days ago and I don't want to forget it. It's a really good idea--way better than the messy, convoluted, unfinished wreck that was my NaNo '09 novel--and I'm quite sure it'll be at least 50,000 words in length (and if it isn't, I'll make it so it is).
Since Virgil introduced her little voices in her last post, I suppose I should introduce mine (*drags little voices out from under the bed*). They are:
1) Ludwig, my wonderful muse [*coughcoughWHOHASN'TBEENDOINGHIS JOBLATELYcough*]. He's generally quite nice; I've had him since last November. He signed on for--what else?--NaNoWriMo, and he's been with me ever since.
2) Bryn, aka Aebryn, who is technically my daemon** but since he doesn't exactly have a physical form he resides in my head as a little voice. He's the one that berates me when I'm in a particularly self-pitying mood, etc. If he had a physical form, he'd be a red panda.
3) [The wonderful] Isilwen, the one who organizes the creative overflow that Ludwig doesn't want to deal with. She also is the one responsible for everything academic, and tells me what to write on essays and worksheets. Sometimes she gets mad at me and then I forget stuff like the difference between "vector" and "vehicle."
4) Theodor and Mossy, the two who usually work as my ears; they sometimes like to join in if the other three are having a big party with lots of food. T & M are quite greedy things, really.
My little voices aren't as cool as Virgil's ("Hey!" "You apologize to us right now!" "I should copyright my ideas so you don't get 'inspired' by them!" "Shut up!" "If you don't like us, we're going! Now!"), but they're a nice bunch, and I like them lots.

Now, to end this post:
1) Are you doing NaNoWriMo '10?
2) If your daemon (see the note beside the two asterisks below) had a physical form, what would it be? What would his/her name be?
3) What's the difference between a "vector" and a "vehicle," in terms of epidemiology (this question is optional)?
4) Do you like the cover of our yearbook?
5) Why is the rum gone? And do you have a jar of dirt?
Cordially,
-xiy

*I agree, House. Cool people do use semicolons!
**A daemon, from the His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman, is a physical manifestation of one's soul. They are in animal form, and generally are the opposite gender of the person (though there are exceptions). Children's daemons can change shape, but around puberty they start to settle into just one form. According to the books, we have daemons in our world but we can't see them and they don't have physical forms.

Little Voices and Wildfired Whizz-Bangs

Hallo! Welcome to the wonderful day of Saturday! Well, actually it will be Sunday in less than an hour and a half, but you see I've been very busy all day. I won't bore you with the details; I haven't been home for more than twenty minutes at a time since I woke up. I had a ton of places to go, people to see, and then at 4 we all went to Lynda's house for some delicious food and adorable entertainment.

I just saw something shiny.

So.... I'm working on a new project that involves traveling between parallel universes. It's not very legit so far, and I've only outlined, like, the first two chapters. It will be epic, though. Parallel universes are fun. I am writing this story in the hope that it will make people's brains explode, AND THEN I CAN TAKE OVER THE WORLD MUAHAHAHA!! (Athel: You weren't supposed to tell them about your world domination plans until after you turned their brains into sludge! ~ Me: Oh, right... um, forget I just said that. ~ Forge: lol.)
*Awkward change of subject*
LEGASP! I have not yet introduced you to my little voices, of which there are five. There's Charli, Athel, Igor, Gred, and Forge. Then there are the inner demons, Ed (who prefers to be called Draco) and Momo.
***
Charli: Um, hai.
Gred: Since when does Charli spell "hi" wrong?
Ed: Oh, she's been reading "My Immortal."
Athel: That explains everything.
Ed: Why'd you write my name as "Ed"? IT'S DRACO!
Me: Oh. Sorry, Ed.
Ed: CRUCIO!
Igor: Shut up, I have a migraine.
Momo: You and your stupid migraines. If we're too loud, you're too old.
Forge: *Sets off Wildfired Whizz-Bangs in Virgil's brain*
Me: Owwww

Speaking of Whizz-Bangs, I just wrote a song called Whizz-Bangs. (Now wasn't that a clever segway?) Here I present the lyrics:
