I LOVE BIRTHDAYS! :D

AAAHHHHH!!!!! IT'S LYNDA'S BIRTHDAY!!!!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!! :D OMG! She's like, the oldest now. :P ♥ WE LOVE YOU LYNDA! And here's a little celebratory song: ♫ Haaaappy biiirthdayyy too youuuu! Happy birthdayyy to youuu! Happy birthdayyyy, dearrrr LYNDAAAAAAA!!!! Happy birthdayyyyy too youuuu!!!!! ♪♫

YAYY! I wuv birfdays. :3

I have had a very wonderful day with my momma! We went out to put together my brother, who is currently in Afghanistan as some of you may know, a care package. So, it's been a long day but a very fun one! :D

Ew, I had to go to Wal-mart today. I don't really like Wal-mart, but this one was alright. It was enough for me to handle at least. All the stores I went to today were exceptionally alright, obviously some more than others. Like, the Subway we went to for lunch actually had a white guy working there. Oh, I know, that sounds so awful to say but it is true. Most Subways I've ever been to have only had black/ Indian people working there, so this was a slight shock. But it was yummyful as always. :)

FUDGE YOU, BLOGGER!!!!)

Meh, Carrie just did a stupid move and ended up deleting the second half of her post :(

but anyways, after that, we went to a book store, which was kind of boring because we only looked for things for my brother and not actually books. but on the bright side, I got new earphones. :1 they're lovely. (Meh, my shift key is not working like I'd like it to, >:( ) Speaking of books, how was book club? Do we have a new assignment? Who even went?

So, um, I'm just gonna go now. yeah? yeah. KAY. BAI!
DFTBA! ♥

Smiles, hugs, and lots of love,
Carrie

HAPPY BIRFDAY, LYNDA!!! :D I am going to work on your prezzie tonight, and then mail it to you. :) and it's going to be so wonderful!

o.hai!

So... um... my birthday is kind of in 5 days. js. Not like I'm counting or anything. :P

Today, the 6LCFs' highschool's football team won their first game! :D It was incredibly exciting, especially since we don't usually win games. Like, ever. -.-"

I just watched a movie! ^.^ It was called Leap Year. If you're into chick flicks/romantic comedies, you'd like it. :P I'm a romantic comedy type of gal, so naturally I loved it. :)
On a side-note: I'm talking to Eggr, and he just told me that he'd watch anything with me, even a chick flick. ^.^ Okay, I'll stop now. :P

I am going to attempt to write a somewhat long-ish post. Maybe I'll actually succeed this time, unlike every other post that I said would be a long one. ...Eh, probably not. I apologize, I love talking and telling people about everything, but I'm just so lazy. It's horrible! Pweasedon'thateme.

Let's see... what can I talk about? I'm a really boring person, I don't have much to talk about. Maybe I'm just weird about what I put on the internet (IE: blog posts)

Well, there's a question I have: what's the real difference between i.e. and e.g.? I seem to always mix them up, and then I feel really stupid. I know e.g. is like "for example,...", but for some reason I always mix it up with i.e. and when I catch myself, I'm always wondering what i.e. actually means. It's like hydroxl and carboxyl in bio; they sound so similar, but they're really completely different. Well, kinda.
Eh, I don't want to get into that now. Bio hurts my brain sometimes. Plus, I studied for like an entire hour today for my test on Wednesday. *cue groans* I have a German test that day, too! D: *crawls into corner and gets into fetal position* It's not that I don't like either class, it's just those are my two hardest classes, believe it or not. (Well, German isn't THAT hard, neither is bio... but the tests are kinda hard, and if you can't tell, I really don't like tests.)

I'm enjoying the book we just finished reading for book club. :P I think it's brilliant.
I love that word. Brilliant. It's such a nice sounding word. It makes everything else sound twice as fantastic as it already is. Brilliant.

I believe that this was a very nice length for a post. :) I feel very accomplished.

'kay. Bye!
DFTBA! ♥

Smiles, hugs, and lot of love,
Carrie

woooooaaahhhh!

Hi.

Happy Saturday. :)

Let's see heeeeere... what did Carrie do today?
Well, I woke up. Then, I had to attend the pep band game for my school against this private school. The weather was really weird today. It was like raining, and then it became all sunny and hot. I didn't really like it. Weather needs to stop being so indecisive. Gr. :( But then after the game I went to Eggr's house for like an hour. That was fun. :) Now I'm just chilling at home, facebook, and watching Chicago (finally!). :D

This has been a very nice day. ^_^

Yay! 6LCF book club starts on Monday! :D

Umm... I'm getting too sidetracked from this. Sowwy. :c
k.bai!

DFTBA!♥

Smiles, hugs, and lots of love,
Carrie

birthday and not much else

Holy snoodeboppers what happened? Blogspot, you got yoself a makeova! Maybe I'll actually like you a bit now :D

Hey, guys.
Last Friday was my birthday! Wasn't that exciting!
xiy drawded me the most beautiful picture!! Did you all see it? It's really cute :]

To celebrate getting through another whole gosh darn year of life, I got to take our very first APUSH essay test of the year! Lynda and Virgil already seem... less than 100% pleased with their grades. Oh boy. This will be fun >.< At least we have a whole year to get acclimated and improve, yeah?

But then I got to finish my day off with a tremendously hot, wonderful game of Friday night football! And the band marched fantastically! And the band played fantastically! And the team played well! Gah, so exciting.

The Six Little Curly Fries are gonna try to do a legit book club thing this year, which is also exciting. The first book we'll be reading is Room by Emma Donoghue. I'm like super duper excited about reading this book ^.^ From what I've heard/read/seen, it's a really legit novel. Also, last year, I felt like the school got really jammed up with work and things, so I wasn't able to take time aside to do fun things like read on my own. I hope this book club thing works out; I think it would be really great to stay, like, actively reading through the year :)

Anyway, that's all I've really been up to lately.
Sorry for the short post. It's been a long week >.<"

With all due respect,
House.

School.

Ick. It starts tomorrow >.<

North Carolina was gorgeous. I'm too lazy to go into details, but, it was gorgeous. The weather was nice and sunny, there were beaches everywhere, it was warm, there was a cool sea breeze everyday....*sigh*

Tomorrow school starts, and I'm sort of excited and sort of nervous. Bah. I miss summer already.

In NC, we visited the Wright Brothers National Memorial. Lovely day.

We also went to Jockey Ridge National Park. Lovely sand. (It wasn't too hot...event though it was extremely sunny)

We flew kites. Pretty. We named xiy's kite 'The Bully' and my sister's kite 'England'. England is a unicorn with pink forelocks. :)

Yup.

So we came home yesterday, and on the way home, we went to get groceries from a Chinese/Asian market that we go to. (I believe xiy goes here sometimes) I happened to have my camera with me, so I took a couple of pictures that were interesting or sparked my interest.

Okay. The pictures will come (along with comments) next week, since my SD card is acting up. Argh.

SCHOOL. TOMORROW. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Book club! Yay!

FRAPPUCCINOS!!!!

MOCHA FRAPPUCCINOS!!!

P.S. Exciting thing I found out today: DAMIAN from Celtic Thunder, is in The Glee Project. I may very well watch that just because he is in it. Such a lovely baritone voice. SUCH GORGEOUS EYES!!! Everyone in Celtic Thunder (this band/group of singers) has SUCH BEAUTIFUL EYES!!! *is jealous*

Recycling Tags, New Page, and When will we...?

Part 1: Directed @ Curly Fries Only
On Friday in writing club, instead of writing, xiy, Virgil, Lynda and I were looking at this splendid blog. We noticed as we scrolled down how massively massive our cloud of tags has grown. One finds tags like bingo, duckling, Korea, mail man, religious tolerance, stink, and third grade. Frankly, there are far too many tags for an organized way to find specific posts. I, personally, have been recycling my tags* for quite some time now, seeing as the problem has grown wild. However, if we don't all communally stop using random tags, no one will ever be able to find specific posts. Ever. So if you, 6LCF, would all so kindly recycle your tags, I think everyone would be happier. Also, I think I may delete some of the more obscure tags, if possible. Okay. Is that okay with everyone?

Part 2: New Page
Last week, House ever so kindly set up a new page. On it, we are all supposed to choose 1-3 of our favorite posts and display it for the world to see. This will make any especially memorable days stand out and allow for newcomers to think we have supermega posts every day (which we all know doesn't always happen). If any readers have personal favorites that they would like to suggest, please do so.
.
Part 3: Will we ever/when will we...?
  • do other parts of our bucket list?
  • finish the bucket list?
  • think about book club?
  • do book club??
  • plan our anniversary celebration?
  • change days/colors?
  • be done with school already?!
  • celebrate House and EZ's wedding if the world ends in 2012?!?
  • plan Virgil's wedding?
  • go to Mars?
Oh. Sorry. Got a little carried away.
 Chickens don't really have fingers.
Anyway, happy Monday, everybody!!!
~μομο EDIT: μώμω
* Recycling tags, by the way, is just using old tags instead of creating new ones.

Book Club, Chinese Club, and Creepy Stalkers (club?)

Hi. It's Monday. Yay. Why did I choose Monday for my day to post? Everybody hates Mondays (including myself) and I look forward to Tuesdays just to be done with Mondays. I can't wait for the one-year anniversary so we can change our days. Dibs on...I don't know yet.
*****
THE RESULTS ARE IN! The book club book has officially been decided! We will (at some point in the near or not-so-near future) be reading and doing book-club-y stuff with  D'Aulaire's Book of Norse Myths. By D'Aulaire...I'm guessing. The book club is not an exclusive 6LCF thing, though. If you are a follower or reader (but if you read, you should be a follower. Just sayin') you can join in on the fun. I think we'll be posting stuff on the book club page--check that out every now and then. Also, grab friends, family, pets, neighborhood rapists, and priests to join in on the fun. Maybe we could accumulate a few followers that way too!
*****
Next subject: Chinese Club. Today, xiy, Lynda, and I went to Chinese club; despite the fact that none of us officially take Chinese. Today was the Moon Festival thingy and we ate moon cakes and Pocky and other stuff. I liked it quite a bit. I learned a new  song too! I think the Chinese teachers are expecting us back next week...they have food sooo....
*****
In other news: Creepy stalkers join Momo's lunch table and eat smelly liverwurst sandwiches and talk about stalking 1.) The girls' soccer team 2.) Momo and 3.) back-door-neighbors. Now, I know he's no true stalker, but he was really weird. He just came and sat down at our (me, my sister, her boyfriend, her friend, and her boyfriend's two friends) and pulled out that delightful liver*gag*wurst. Not only did he make a mess and have bad manners, but he also tried to get me to buy him food. Back to the stalking: Moments after he sat down, our new friend told us a story of how he had wanted to watch the girls' soccer team play a game. So, he rode his bike in the rain to a nearby field. The soccer team was not there. Our stalker persisted; traveling to a few more soccer fields and then a different city. Next, he asked me my name. And if I had a Facebook. Then he got up and bought some popcorn. After my table members discussed possibly vacating the premise, he returned. So, we all sat and listened to the new guy talk about how he found out that his friend (who is a girl) lives behind him and how they're back-door-neighbors. He was all like, "It kind of sucks that she's a girl because with my boy neighbors I can just go over and walk into their houses without knocking. But with a girl it's useless!" I nodded for the one hundredth time as he explained how he had never seen her house so he went to check it out. He explained how he went to his garage to see the back and then walked around to the front to "check her house out". He noted that it is "much nicer than mine." And that he wants to see the inside. Hmm...I would warn the girl if I knew her. Well, that's all about the stalker. *shiver*
*****
Speaking of shivering...Today while doing my homework I noticed how cold I was and I was complaining about the below 50 degree F temperature. Then my dad offered to turn on the heat. It must be really cold. D: I was even a little cold while warming up for fencing! That's when I'm supposed to WARM up! I hate the weather here.Hopefully tomorrow will be warmer! Until next week.

Too Much Homework. . . x.X

The xiy that is typing this post is a reincarnation of a previous xiy, who died tragically while trying to complete the overwhelming amount of homework she was given today.

Haha, just kidding. But I did get tons of homework today, which explains the reason I'm posting later than I usually do. Not that it's really *that* late, but still.

Well, the whole reincarnated-me thing reminds me of this one book, Kraken, and since I've got nothing better to do than complain about my workload, I shall explain why reincarnation reminded me of it.

Kraken is a novel by China Mieville, and in it there's this character (I forget the name) who can teleport things by breaking them up into tiny pieces and then putting the pieces back together at the other end (apparently, this is reminiscent of Star Trek, although I don't know anything about that). However, the catch is that if he tries to transport living things, the process of breaking-up actually kills the living thing, and then the putting-back-together sort of clones them. It's a totally new them at the other end, but with the same memories and everything, so you can't tell the difference. But, in essence, they died and were reborn.
So the teleporting guy has teleported himself many times before, and it's come to the point that there's a ton of vengeful ghosts of past hims who are all very, very angry.
[By the way, teleporting-guy is not a main character, but it's totally cool and weird all the same.]

So, yeah.

Vote in our Norse-mythology book poll! Currently, D'Aulaires' Book of Norse Myths, Gods and Heroes from Viking Mythology, and Favorite Norse Myths are all tied for first place with three votes each. The Usborne Illustrated Guide to Norse Myths and Legends only has one vote.

I made a 6LCF banner over the weekend.
Isn't it pretty?
Yeah, that's about it. NaNoWriMo's in one month and sixteen days! :D I've got a few chapters outlined and a lot of the backstory, so I'm pretty much all set. I'd be happier if my characters were out of hibernation, but I suppose there's plenty of time to wake them up before November.

Happy Tuesday!

Book Club Choices

Okay, guys. We really need to get started on our 6LCF book club. After doing a Google search on "Norse mythology for children," I have found the following books.

Curly Fries, vote either in the comments or on this post itself; readers, if you so wish, vote in the comments, please. We'd love to hear your feedback! <3
ACTUALLY, nevermind about voting in comments. I'll just make a poll. (*feels stupid* >.<)
If you want to vote in the comments, go ahead, but make sure to choose the two you want in the poll.
Suggestions will still go in the comments, 'kay?

D'Aulaires' Book of Norse Myths [amazon info]
Apparently, the d'Aulaires have written other books on mythology and other things, and I like the illustrations. Pic of the book cover in the link.

Gods and Heroes from Viking Mythology [amazon info]
It's technically "young adult" and there's 152 pages, but there seem to be a lot of illustrations (well, it says "full color" in the description, whatever that means). The one review of it on Amazon is four stars, so it seems okay. Pic of book cover in link.

The Usborne Illustrated Guide to Norse Myths and Legends [amazon info]
I don't like the cover illustration at all; it's a bit overdone and just sort of ickily green. It's a short book--only 48 pages--so I guess some of the lazy people in our group (*coughthepeoplewhoaretoolazytomake6LCFvideosevenwhenwe'reallinthesameplacecough*) won't have to exert themselves overmuch to get through it.

Favorite Norse Myths [amazon info]
I like the paintings in this book, from what I've seen of them. There aren't pictures *everywhere*, but the ones that are there are really good. It's 87 pages and 14 myths.

--
There are lots more--just go on Google/Amazon and start searching "Norse mythology for children" and you'll get tons. It's silly to list them all, so I just stuck with four.
If any of you, Curly Fries or readers, have any extra books you think would be good for the topic [that being "a children's book of Norse mythology with lots of pictures"], please tell in the comments.

For now, choose two books maximum; then, if there's too close of a competition, we narrow it down to the top two and then choose again.

Voting closes in two weeks; that should be enough time.

It's Theme Week #3!

So, as was agreed yesterday, this week shall be another theme week, in an effort to fuel some creativity and break the monotony of school and such.
Theme week number three consists of picture-oriented posts (aka posts with at least somewhat-related pictures in them, at least four).

Ergo, I am posting today with a collection of bad icons and assorted pictures.

Yesterday, I was experimenting with icons and such, on a website called Picnik, which lets you upload and edit pictures (I think five, but I don't know) for free. It's really fun.
What I came up with were:
This quote-from-Don-Quixote icon, which is rather difficult to read; it says, "when life itself seems lunatic, who knows where madness lies?" It's not that great. >.>

and
I quite like this one; it's a 6LCF icon, which immediately ups the awesome-factor. xD Also, it's easier to read and very colorful. It's nowhere near what most LJ icon-makers do, but it's okay for a beginner without Photoshop, I think. ^.^
and
This one happens to be part of my birthday present to House, as we are both editors and so we understand such editing-in-purple-related jokes. This is, like, my most legit icon, and I really, really love it. It's my favorite out of the three. <3
You can use these icons wherever; as long as you don't edit them, I'm fine. No credit necessary, but it's nice to be appreciated, y'know?
Not that anybody would ever want to use any of these, I don't think. . . -.-;;
--
Anyway, we have finally decided on what to do for our Six Little Curly Fries book club.
*drumroll*
We've decided on a kids' book of Norse mythology, exact title TBA. None of us are very familiar with Norse mythology, I don't think; I myself know most of the gods and such, but I'm not familiar with the individual myths themselves.

So I thought I'd give you guys a run-through of the main Norse deities.

Odin is, like, the Zeus of Norse mythology; he's the "father of gods and men." He has two ravens, Huginn and Munin, who fly around and give him information. He exchanged his eye for inner wisdom. Wednesday is named after him; he is the god of logic/thought/wisdom/etc. He's got an awesome eight-legged horse named Sleipnir.
My terrible interpretation, MS-Paint-style:
"i haz speer!1!"
Thor, the Thunderer, is sometimes thought to be the son of Odin and sometimes thought not to be. He's very buff and manly and such, since he's power personified. Thor has a giant hammer called Mjollnir, which causes lightning/thunder. Thursday is his day.
Note the LARGE, DANGEROUS HAMMER. Now stay away from the LARGE, DANGEROUS HAMMER. Got it?
Freyja is the goddess of love/beauty, but she's also a warrior. Also, she and Freyr, her brother, are one of the Vanir; the other guys in this bunch (except Loki, who's neither) are Aesir. Aesir, Vanir, Loki-the-outcast-but-we-love-him-anyway. Everybody clear on this?
All right, back to Freyja.
Freyja is also sometimes called the Queen of the Valkyries, and has this super-awesome magical necklace called Brisingamen. Friday is her day.
Isn't she perty? Oh, and I know that the way I'm drawing them makes it look like they're not actually holding the weapons; sorry about that, but I'm too lazy to go back and fix 'em.

Freyr is, of course, Freyja's twin brother. His sacred symbol/animal is the boar; he is also the god of fertility/success. Apparently, he likes fighting with elk horns more than he does with swords. He doesn't seem to have a day of the week associated with him.
"i can haz boar?"

Tyr is the god of war and the lawgiver of the gods. He used to be the *leader* of the gods, but then Odin took over. He's very good at fairness and righteousness and stuff.
Yeah. . . I really suck at MS Painting swords. . . Tyr is awfully hairy too. >.>
Also, he only has one hand. (He sacrificed the missing hand so that the big bad wolf Fenris could be bound.) Tuesday is his day.

Loki, my favoritest god ever (my favorite goddess being Athena, just FYI), is also called the Trickster, the Sly One, or the Sky Traveller. He, as previously mentioned, isn't Aesir or Vanir, but he's descended from the Ettins (aka Elementals). His element is fire, and he's sort of half-demonic because of his heritage.
His alignment is sort of ambiguous; he helps and fights against the gods, and eventually he gets strung up on a big rock with a snake spitting venom into his face (he probably developed severe ophidiophobia from this xD) as a punishment--mostly for killing Baldur.
He also is the father of some of the craziest people/monsters on earth, including Fenris (big bad wolf), Jormurgandr (the World Serpent), and Hel (the goddess of death).
<3 [I also fail forever at drawing fire on MS Paint. >.<]
Heimdall is the golden-toothed guardian of the rainbow bridge, Bifrost, which leads to Asgard (aka the home of the gods). Heimdall has a giant horn; he will blow said horn to alert the Aesir that Ragnarok is coming.
So, y'see, rainbows are totally manly. ^.^
Did I mention the golden teeth?
Then there's Skadi, who's all icy and vengeful and stuff. She's married to Njord, the god of the sea, but they have sort of a rocky relationship. She wanted Baldur, but Baldur got killed by Loki, so Skadi hates Loki (actually, I think most people hate Loki). She's the goddess of righteous anger, justice, and vengeance.
I made her background blue so her hair could be white; I like the idea of Skadi with white hair. Also, the fact that she's carrying a whip comes from the book Runemarks, which is a very good book. It's sort of Norse-mythology related, but it's a novel. so obviously we're not doing it for book club.

There's loads more, including Frigga, Odin's wife; Baldur, the god of spring; Hel, the goddess of death whose face looks sort of like this:
So, yeah, I can't possibly list/draw them all; I hope you enjoyed this little mythology lesson (which took me, like, an hour to draw >.<).
Happy Theme Week!

Hi! Hi! Hi! :D
I had a most wonderful birthday on Saturday, courtesy of the Curly Fries. Thank you all, for coming and making it awesome!

Anyway, today, I would like to talk about. . . Hrm. I'm actually not quite sure what I'm going to talk about.
Well, for one, school starts in exactly a week. There goes summer. It's been a really great vacation this year; summer didn't pass too quickly, which is good.
I've also been writing the sequel to my NaNoWriMo novel, since it's not November yet so I can't actually write the first book. It's been going quite swimmingly. I am a very mean author. I like heaping misfortune on the characters; it's fun. ^.^
(House and Carrie, you two should totally do NaNo! It'll be fun!)

Also, I finally finished The Silmarillion yesterday. For those who don't know, The Silmarillion is, like, the prequel to Lord of the Rings. It tells about the stuff that happened in Middle-Earth in (mostly) the First Age, with a bit about the Second Age and then a summary of the Third Age (and it very, very briefly goes through the events of LotR at the very end). You don't necessarily even have to read LotR to understand any of the stuff in the Silmarillion, since it's a prequel.
After reading it, I've got, like, a much better idea of what the heck happened in LotR; before, I was just like, "Okay, who is this person?!"
The one bad part is that practically all the main characters die in it, which really sucks.
There's also this fanfiction called "The Silmarillion Gospel," by Araloth the Random. It's what would happen if the Silmarillion (which is already written like a myth) was turned into Biblical English by a bunch of fangirls. It's hilarious, and one of the rather few good fics on ff.net. Go read it! You won't regret it, I promise.
I recommend this book for Book Club. It's a bit confusing at the beginning, but it's really, really good by the end.
Please? :3

That's more or less it for today, the 102nd post.
(Oh, and there's going to be a 6LCF all-nighter on Friday! Woot!)

Summer Reading on a Lazy Friday Day (Fridayday? lol what?)

"You could paint your history over any way you like, but you'd always see those first few brushstrokes."
—Jodi Picoult's Handle with Care

Hello. Again. [And again and again...]

Well... what's been up with me lately? Hm... let's see. I'm back at my summer house, though I won't be here tomorrow. Right now, I'm watching NCIS, but I haven't been paying attention to the plot, so I don't really get what's up. The chick with the black pony tails and bangs and gothic kinda look is talking.

I've been doing a lot of reading lately. Our school has required us to read at least one of two books this summer, one of them being My Sister's Keeper (by Jodi Picoult), which is the one I read. I really liked it, so I went to the library to get out another one of hers, Handle with Care. The only things I didn't like were (1) I didn't find the voices of each character to be that diverse, (2) The ending wasn't called for, and (3) It was pretty much the exact same story as My Sister's Keeper, except with different words and names and diseases. But I really like her writing style and stuff personally ^_^

Anyway.
I've been reading a lot, which has got me thinking about that book club thing we thought of starting forever ago... remember that, yeah? :)

It's nice here. The weather's let up nicely, so I can sit on the beach and read my books.

1) Book club. Are we doing this, or what? School's starting soon. We might not have time then, what with homework and stuff. You know.
2) Lynda's punishment. I think we're waiting until she's back to decide, but what's up...? (Apparently, Virgil's got some ideas...)
3) No, really. How's your summer going? ^_^
4) Bleh, we're going back to school so soon... [Statement as a question, yeah. Chill.]

With all due respect,
House

Holy Frick... Jeez, It's Friday

"I'm not worried about a damn thing." —My grandfather (Papa)

Ahh, I walked around all day being like, "Hm.. it's Friday. That's nice." I sat down at the computer and looked at the screen, and the little thingy at the top of my monitor was all like, "Fri 7:00 PM," and I was like "Frickkkkk."

So anyway.

Happy Friday. I guess I don't have much to tell you... the only thing I suppose is notable is that I'm not where I am when I usually write up my posts; I'm at my summer house. So, yeah.

Oh, wait. Yes, I do have something to tell you:

Momo and Virgil often criticize me for being too bossy (teehee), and yeah, they're a bit right. But I'm usually what makes stuff get done, I guess. Or whatever. Anyway. Last frikkin forever ago, Virgil proposed the idea of a book club reading group thingy that we could do. And I think that's a fantastic idea, and the other Curly Fries seem to like the idea quite a bit, too ("AWESOME!!"), so I think we should do it. And getting us started, I guess, will be the theme for my questions [except the last one, that is].

1) Do you like the idea of us forming a little book club thingy?
2) Do you have any particular book[s] that you think we should read?
3) How should we go about discussion etc.?
4) What is your favourite book genre/type of book?
5) What is your least favourite book genre/type of book?
6) What book length are you comfortable with?
7) Do you have access to a library or somewhere else where you would have access to a lot lot lot of books that we might read for our club, in the case that we can not [for whatever reason] borrow from each other? [Just checking.]
8) Yes or no: Should we start off with a book we've pretty much all read and discussed already? (i.e. something like a John Green book)*
9) In our case, "Curly Fry" or "Curly Fries" is a proper noun, right? ("Hello, my name is Lynda, and I am one of the Curly Fries."/"This weekend, the Curly Fries went on a wonderful adventure through the streets of Venice.")
^ANSWER THESEEEEEE, PLEASE AND THANK YOUUUUU :)

With all due respect,
House

*Virgil's kinda already asked this, and the group has given a pretty negative response (because we've pretty much already dissected it over our lunch period), but I'm just checking.
