Hillo!
:D
Happy Saturday!
I am currently chilling with 4/6 (including moi) 6LCF. We are enjoying Pink lemonade and orange juice. Mmmmm....
We just got back from a lovely parade and a circle in our city. Originally, it was just Momo and me, and then we found xiy, and then we found Lynda*. Virgil is going on a trip so she, unfortunately, could not join us, and House has no idea what time we're supposed to be here sooo...... yeah. lawls. Hopefully she'll read this. :)
Anyway, we're about to go down to a square to get ingredients for s'mores. mm-mm-mm...
Soooo... back to my life: yesterday I hung out with Eggr. It was fun. We watched White Chicks and schtuff. yeah. fun. :)
uhhhhh....
I'm just gonna go now. yeah? yeah. okay bye.
DFTBA!♥
Virgil, have fun on your trip.
*Lynda is potentially changing her name to Kyt/Kat/Kayt (pronounced 'Kat'). Stay updated on that to avoid shock in future posts.
Smiles, hugs, and lots of love,
Carrie

A Post From Momo:
Woah! New style, look what I can do now: couldn't do this before! Or this: sweet! And different preview thing, and page breaks!
Sorry, the formatting for posting changed, I would stop, but it is just so fun! Weee! BTW, this post is going to be in 4 parts-ish...unless I ramble. Then it may be 5 or 6. But then again, I may forget what to write a part, so it may be 2 or 3 parts (crap. I'm rambling, never mind).
*****
Anyway...
Happy Monday, May 17, 2010! Enjoy it now, because this moment will be gone in a few seconds, there it goes. So sad. Ahem. Did you know that today is a very "holidayful" day? Because it is (oh no she did not just begin a sentence with "because" *gasp*). Today is Armed Forces Day, UN World Information Society Day, UN World Telecommunication Day (that sounds interesting, eh?), World Hypertension Day (as does that), Anniversary of the 1st US Same-Sex Marriage (yay!), Mia Hamm's birthday, and Constitution Day (Norway). Man, I just love World Hypertension Day! FTW!
Have you heard about our cooking teacher yet? Ms. Land we'll call her. She is extremely stupid, annoying, culturally challenged, and frankly, a very bad cooking teacher. This week, we will be learning about Asian Cuisine. I do not think however, that Ms. Land realizes that "Asia" is not just China. She asked xiy and House what they could tell the class about what they eat at home and where they are from. House is adopted, but she has been to China before. She doesn't eat Chinese food at home, but Ms. Land doesn't understand that. xiy does eat Chinese food at home, but seemed a tad annoyed with Ms. Land's pronunciation of words, her descriptions of food, and just a tad annoyed with her references to other Chinese traditions. I think they should have made Ms. Land look even dumber by doing this:
Ms. Land: "House," [she didn't actually say House] "where are you from? What do you eat at home?"
And House should have said: "Um. I'm Korean. I don't know about Chinese food."
She didn't do that though because she is too good. *Sigh*. Then somehow, our class got into this whole argument with Ms. Land whether it is pronounced "sherbet" or "sherbert". I, being the short-tempered little girl that I am, shot my hand up and said, "Well, actually, I think some people call it sherbert and that both are correct." Needless to say, Ms. Land does not like smart-a**s like me...so she made a bet. She told me that if I brought in a product (not a picture) with "sherbert" written on it, she would give me 50 extra credit points. That is a lot of extra credit. Soooo I did a little research. I found out that sherbert is another name for sherbet and that both are appropriate. I also discovered that sherbert is slang in Britain and Australia for beer. I told my mom about this, and she and I are about to go to the grocery store to buy some sherbert/sherbet. If we can't find any with the actual label of "sherbert", I will make my own label with a sticker machine I have. Mwhahahaha! I feel so evil!
Guess what?!?! This week (well, on Friday) [Edit: Er, actually next Saturday...], 6LCF will be celebrating their one month anniversary! On Sunday (I think) we will be having a collab. post talking about the history, or lack thereof, of the Curly Fries. Look forward to that...
I lied! I forgot to say what I learned this week. This week I learned that "What had happened was..." is in the plu-perfect tense. That's all. I couldn't think of anything funny. Now laugh and go away. Bye. For realz.

Aaand:
If we did not mention it already, last Saturday we had a very successful flashlight tag/Monty Python party. Sadly, Carrie couldn't make it, but she was there in spirit. Also, if you don't know, flashlight tag is like, a tradition of us. It is a cross between hide-and-go-seek, freeze tag, and ghost in the graveyard. You have to wait until it is dark outside, then have one person be "it". They count to 60 while everyone else hides. The "it" person must find everyone by shining a flashlight on the person (this is called "being tagged"). If you are tagged, you must go to jail. You may try to leave jail, but the "it" person normally keeps a close eye on you. People can also free you if they are free and they tag you. Once everyone has successfully been locked up, the round is over and you begin again. We try to play this a lot, it's super fun. I don't have anything else to say...so see you, talk to you, until next week...Bye!

Never mind. I lied again. I want to have a theme this week. Leave any theme suggestions in the comments, then xiy can have the first theme post and I can finish it off next Monday. Unless no one wants a theme. I would be sad. Happy Hypertension Day!!!!!

Momo Monday!
It's finally here! The day you have all been waiting your entire lives to wait for!!! Welcome to Momo Monday!! And May! I can't believe no one even mentioned this lovely new month of May! But it is finally here and we all know that after May comes June and for us, that means the end of the school year. We have been suffering through school, and once June comes around we'll be free for the summer!
Anyway, on to more important topics, like how House has a family. That's right; she's been keeping it from us all this time. She has a husband* and a son (that I adopted from Mexico for her), named El Won Carlos (and yes, "Won" is supposed to be "Won," not "Juan"). EWC has a son/daughter who we named Taco. Not only this, but House also has a biological daughter named Taylor, a dinosaur named Kitty, and a fish named Alex! She just wanted to make sure that I mentioned this in the blog, it's very important that she knows that we all accept her. [Yeah, no....]
Alrighty then, I don't have tons to say today (like Virgil— hers was actually legit information!), but I would like to mention a few things. First of all, it is illegal to get married under the age of 18 without parental consent. This means, House [teehee], that unless my parents legally allow me to get married, I won't. Second of all, the only way I would get married to someone I don't even like is if I was in some way forced to or if I was pregnant. Well, I guess you caught me there; I am pregnant with L's baby! Hahaha. No, I'm not. Really, I swear. Next topic. The Curly Fries may be getting a new member. Although our clique is strictly exclusive, a classmate of ours requested that she be an honorary Sunday writer. I personally would not like having a seventh Curly Fry, but an honorary guest would be okay. Write in the comments what you think, then maybe we can take a vote.
Another new topic. Sorry for my sudden leaps of topics; I didn't do any planning and this is coming mostly off the top of my head. The Curly Fries (as a group of friends) have been an official clique of our school for the past two years. In those two years, we have set some wonderful traditions together (flashlight tag, after-band parties, a new tradition, which is NaNoWriMo, and more). One of our favorites is flashlight tag. Flashlight tag is a combination of freeze tag and hide-and-go-seek, but it's in the dark! :O One person is 'it' and everyone hides (this is best done if one is wearing black), after the allotted time has passed, the seeker goes and tries to find people. You are tagged if the beam of the flashlight falls on you. Then you must go to jail until someone frees you. Last summer, we played this too many times to count, and I would like to play it again this year. Oh, and just to let you know, we do have a seventh Curly Fry, although she doesn't write. Her name is... um... it's, er... we'll call her Lee. (<--That's her middle name.) Lee also plays flashlight tag with us.
Now I'm boring myself. This post is so short! I don't want to have the shortest post! Oh well! See y'all next week! Oh! And before I forget, today I learned that when you bother House enough in just the right ways, she makes a funny face and growls. Just kidding! I already knew that!

*Edit [House]: I actually don't have a husband. Just a little note.
