Let's Play a Game

Happy Rosh Hashanah, my dear curly fries!!
I love our school so much. You wanna know why? It's because there are so many people of different cultures, religions, races, etc. that we get fun holidays off. Like Rosh Hashanah. :)
Before I start the meat of this post, I want to wish Carrie the happiest birthday evarrr!!!
I know xiy made an awesome banner (because I saw it, like, a month ago in bio) that should be put up soon! :D

The Meat of the Post:
For the longest time, I've been thinking about doing some sort of poll or something about "What do you know about the Curly Fries" type thing. Until recently, I've never actually been able to think of a fun and exciting format. However, I decided some time last week that I would just keep it simple. Here are the rules:
There are 21 questions/statements about the curly fries listed below.  In the comments, write the number of the question and the name of the person it describes best. For example:
Ex. 1) Which curly fries' name begins with the letter that sounds most like the Greek letter mu?______
Comment: Ex 1.) Momo
It's pretty complicated.
Which curly fry:
1. did you meet first/have known the longest?

2. makes you laugh the most?

3. is most likely to be famous?

4. is the most athletic?

5. has the best/most varied taste in music?

6. is most likely to get married first?

7. is the most adventurous?

8. makes the funniest faces?

9. has the neatest bedroom?

10. has the messiest bedroom?

11. is most likely to travel/live abroad?

12. has the prettiest eyes?

13. is most well-rounded?

14.  is most likely to be a millionaire?

15. most likely to invent something awesome?

16. will be/is the most frightening driver?

17. is the pickiest?

18. is the most technologically advanced?

19. has read the most books?

20. shares the best memory with you? Please explain dis one.

Last Question: For each question, please give an answer for each curly fry:

21. Which animal does each curly fry represent?

That's the end of the game!! Make sure you comment with your answers below!

Happy birthday, Carrie!!
I give you the day off as a present.

"...These are a few of my favorite things!" ♫

So I suppose we are having a theme week this week about our favorite things, yes? Alright then, here are a few of Carrie's favorite things.  (Don't worry, I'll go more into detail later on; I just want to make a short list of some of my favowite things) :3 Fluffy kittens, techno music, good food, and warm laundry. *Sigh* Can my favorite things also be considered things that make me happy? If so, I think that would make for a very long list... let's begin then!
  • Pictures of fluffy kittens/ fluffy kittens in real life
  • That feeling of rain when it's warm outside
  • when my computer DOESN'T crash. *mumble*
  • cuddling :3
  • the 6LCFs (duh)
  • when my mother doesn't talk.
  • mah beau :) (sorry that some of you guys don't like him :( )
  • large, fuzzy blankets :)
  • long hugs :3
  • Mitchell Davis ♥ (youtube him)
  • techno music!
  • Saturdays (most of the time)
  • soft carpeting
  • (yes, I seem to like a lot of soft things)
  • plaid pajama pants
  • mustaches :{D
  • cream cheese and butter that comes in the tub, not bars
  • smiley faces
  • sunshine
  • cake (mmm... cake.)
  • writing
  • colored pens
  • sharpie markers
  • neon colors
  • optimism
  • life
Okay. Phew! I'm done! Yes, those are some of my favorite things! There's probably more, but I might get a bit carried away. Oh, hey, that was a slight pun. Lawlsies.
Um, yeah. So I began writing this in English, then I had to stop since we were supposed to be reading :P I  don't think my English teacher likes me too much. D: Oh well...
Um, I'm really tired. and I have a global studies quiz tomorrow. Ew.
Okay. You're awesome, did you know that?
Bye.
DFTBA!♥

Smiles, hugs, and lots of love,
Carrie

uh. yeah.

Well, hi there!

Happy Wednesday, y'all. :D

Today was the second day of "try-outs" for the play that I hope to participate in. :) Yesterday was pretty fun. We did a lot of "getting to know each other/theatre" type stuff. And there were only those couple moments of awkwardness. ;)

Uh, I'm tired. Yeah... I would have soo much more to write (I actually do, but I'm way too lazy right now).

BTW, 6LCF has been up for nearly a year! :D *excitement*

yeah, I'mma go now. Bye.

DFTBA!♥

Smiles, hugs, and lots of love,
Carrie

Happy Thanksgiving!

Sorry for the bad quality; the picture was taken by webcam because (a) xiy doesn't have a scanner [*sadface*] and (b) she was too lazy to take a legit camera-picture.
~Happy Thanksgiving from the Six Little Curly Fries!~

YAY!!! It's Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving break too! It's my day to post today, but since it's also THANKSGIVING, I'm giving up my post, so that everyone of the Curly Fries (and I mean everyone. Lately the ALL curly fry posts have been a bit lacking in ppl who actually POST IN IT, >:( So EVERY CURLY FRY MUST POST TODAY :)) can post what they are thankful for this Thanksgiving. Please also post a quick summary of what you, the reader, are thankful for this Thanksgiving in the comments!

*note* Curly Fries, also post something about what you are doing for Thanksgiving
Anyways, as we are all so excited about eating turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatas n' gravy, blah blah blah...and all sorts of things, let's get posting about what we love to eat too! YAY!!!...Actually, how about this, Curly Fries must post on what they are thankful for (at least 3, and please have at least one original idea-something other than "family, friends"...you can have those as the other 2, ok?), and choose one of the following: 1)What you are planning on eating, or 2)What you are planning on doing.
Our faithful readers (from Canada?), feel free to join in the comments!
Luv, Lynda
P.S. Watch the Macy's parade! It's fun. :)

Momo: 1.) I am thankful for many of the same things as xiy already mentioned (she was the first to fill this in) and a lot more. I just came back from feeding homeless people in our city and it was really fun and I realized how much more stuff I have than them. I am thankful that I have a house, computers with keyboards, turkeys who so bravely give their lives for our dinners, telephones, genetics, this blog and the people who are part of it, Hyperbole and a Half, my family, God (sorry, but I had to bring in religion), school breaks, my camp, German food and the people who make it, my cats, tooth paste, eyes, all 6 of my senses, water, stairs, rocks, the sky, Greek and Latin, math, Science Olympiad, good books, music, and a lot more. I am thankful that I am alive and that I don't have a fatal disease or anything.
2.) I already said that I fed the homeless and now my mommy and I are going to cook. Then we're going to a friend's house for a feast!!!

xiy: What xiy is thankful for:
friends/family (duh); books; blogs; the Internet; sunsets; summer vacation; the discovery of fire; planetariums; indoor plumbing; the fantasy genre; good music; chocolate; squishable sheep named Archie; the ability to draw; red pandas; curly fries and Curly Fries; plums; unicorns named Hector; windy days; school holidays; cats; air; the human circulatory system; evolution; trees; smoothies; webcomics (xkcd, Fey Winds, and FreakAngels in particular); Gimp/Photoshop; WiFi; pillows; tea with peppermint; snow(y) days; and I can't think of any more as of right now, but there's definitely loads more.

Lynda is coming over today for Thanksgiving. We're going to have a giant Chinese Thanksgiving party tonight, involving much yummy food and a lot of little kids running around.

Carrie: Herro! :) I already had my quite delicious thanksgiving feast with the fam. and my mother is making a 15-pound turkey. I don't know why. But now my whole house smells strongly of Turkey ^_^ and I get to have a whole 'nother thanksgiving on Saturday. Today was the one with my dad's family, and on Saturday I'm having it with my mom's family. Soooo lots of food and possibly 10 pounds for me. Eh, it's 'kay. I'll sleep it off. ;) I'm thankful for a lot this holiday season. I'm thankful for my loving family and friends and everyone I'm lucky to have in my life right now! I'm thankful for the fact that no one in the family has passed since there have been some close calls. I'm thankful for the roof over my head and heat that keeps me warm. I'm thankful for all of the people I have met, whether they've stuck around or not. I'm thankful for all of the fantastic experiences I've had in my life. And finally I'm thankful to be blessed with this life and all of the happiness it's brought with it. :) Love y'all! xo ♥ Carrie

Lynda: Thankful for: food, money, ranting, blogs, internet, computer, my brain, my body parts, friends/family, life, fanfiction, writing, NaNoWriMo buddies, Crew Break Month:), Birthday, 6LCF, and most of what everyone else said :)
Going over to xiy's house to play cards(actually, I already went), eat, talk, play ping-pong...OMIGOSH! I played ping-pong, 1st time in my life, not that bad at it...The ping-pong ball just liked to bounce off the ceiling a lot whenever I hit it...or just fly over xiy's head :)

House:

Virgil: Do I really have to list everything I'm thankful for? I'd be here all day. Uh, general things: God, friends, family, a nice house, books, libraries, fantastic people like J.K. Rowling, and... uh... yeah basically everything fits in those categories. I am going to my grandparent's house for the long weekend to see them and my aunt and uncle and cousins and other people. We will talk about politics and Israel and other things that don't really interest me that much, but that's okay.

XOXOXO
~6LCF~

SHOOP DA WOOP!

Hahaha. I'm kind of hyper, sorry.
Do you ever get that? Where you're like, tired, but you're still kinda hyper? Yeeeaahhh... That's how I feel right now. And I'm hungry, which unfortunately only makes it worse. >.<

Hehe! Guess what? Carrie's got a boo. ^_^ To the curly fries this is old-ish news... but to everyone else *cough* reding this, this must be kind of exciting. Well, not really. Sorry.

Uuuuhhhhh.... Well then. Ugh. I want food. And this computer is failing. and is kinda slow for a not-so-old laptop. (HP btw) And I have homeworrrkkkkk. Ew. It's not a lot today. Just English and global studies. No big deal, I finished Geometry at school. I really just don't want to do it. But I have to. Ew.

Oh!!!! Guess what's in 5 days (and in 2 days!). Halloween! It's kind of not a big deal, but it's still exciting. I *want* to go trick-or-treating but I'll probably stay home with a bag of gummy bears and do homework. All while possibly wearing a costume. (Heh, probably not.) Um! In 2 days it is the 6LCF 6-monthiversary. Yay! *Cheers* Hip-hip-hoorah! I personally find this exciting. Six months is a pretty long time. Maybe we'll make it to a year... and a half! Now that'd be something worth celebrating. ^_^

Anyhoo, I must be off to the wonderful world of... oh, forget it. I'm going to do homework, then eat, then go to bed. Yay. Now that sounds like my kind of night. Sort of.

DFTBA! <3

Smiles, hugs, and lots of love,
Carrie

P.S.- The last marching band/ football game is on Saturday! :( Which also means that concert season is about to begin! :) You know what they say: As one door closes, another opens.

Yay for optimism! :D

Twelve Days. Only Twelve Days. x.x

Meaning twelve more days until NaNoWriMo, of course. AHHH. I have discovered how one can simultaneously be excited for and also seriously dread something.
[Virgil, I'm sorry if I just gave you another panic attack. I just thought that the general, non-NaNo public ought to know.]

In math class yesterday and today, I (with the help of Virgil, House, and Lynda [though the latter two contributed their help during lunch and not math class]) developed a 6LCF Identification Guide; it is a handy tool that will help identify all the various species and subspecies of the Curly Fry genus.
Here it is, for everyone's future reference:

Species of the Curly Fry Genus
An Invaluable Resource!
**DISCLAIMER: This was written with flagrant disregard for Latin grammar. Please don't yell at me.
  • Fencing Curly Fries--Curlyfrysius fencii
  • Writing Curly Fries--Curlyfrysius fanficus or Curlyfrysius originalficus
    • NaNoing Curly Fries--Curlyfrysius crazii
  • Curly Fries in Band--Curlyfrysius musicalia
    • Flute-Playing Curly Fries--Curlyfrysius flautarum
  • Bilingual Curly Fries--Curlyfrysius bilinguus
    • Greek-taking Curly Fries--Curlyfrysius sleepdeprivdium
    • Latin-taking Curly Fries--Curlyfrysius romanae

  • Curly Fries with Siblings--Curlyfrysius sisteria
    • Curly Fries who are Older than their Sibling(s)--Curlyfrysius ancienia
    • Curly Fries who are Younger than their Sibling(s)--Curlyfrysius youngia
Obviously, each Curly Fry fits into more than one species.
I hope you enjoyed! :)
I was going to make a dichotomous key for this, but I haven't had enough time to do so (I've still got science homework after this, so I can't do it post-post [har]). Perhaps next week.

Anyway, I would like the other five Curly Fries to categorise (argh; now I immediately go with British spellings >.<) themselves along the lines of the identification guide.
Readers (if you care to comment), you can try to classify each of the 6LCF too; I guess this would make for some interesting how-well-do-you-know-us trivia games and such.
[If you don't want to comment with a Curly-Fry classification, that's fine too. It was just a suggestion.]

That's it for this Tuesday.

Goodbye, then.

This is the 6LCF's 75th post!! *excitement*

Hello you!

Yes, I am indeed posting the 6LCF's 75th post. This is a bit exciting. I mean like, 75 posts in 2 months?? That's crazy! Anyhow, today I was not feeling well so I unfortunately could not go to the wonderful magical world of *theatre camp*. *sniffle, sniffle* Oh well, I should be feeling better by tomorrow. :)

I have no idea what I'm going to ramble about today... I sort of thought I'd do a "My thoughts of this and that" sort of thing. Like, how many Priuses (Prii???) I've been seeing lately. Not that I don't like them, it's just there's SO MANY nowadays. Seriously, I've been seeing a Prius every 5 minutes. Less than 5  minutes sometimes. Yeah... Ummmm..... so.... *awkward silence*

Moving on...

To my Dearest 6LCF, Chow-Chow has passed away after a lovely and adventurous 4 1/2 years on this earth. Actually she passed away last week. I believe it was Wednesday night... :( May she R.I.P. in the fluffy heaven/ after-place of all good critters. *sniff sniff*

Still moving on...

ON A HAPPIER NOTE, next Thursday and Friday I will be performing stuff :D for my camp. Which is exciting... So next week when I post I probably will be flipping out. Maybe even just do a post of...words. Musical words.

I think I'm about done here. I will go back to being uncomfortably not well, and lazy, and maybe even finish the book I was reading, write some stuff. That sort of thing.
Okey dokey. DFTBA! ♥

(P.S.- My birthday is on a Wednesday (2 months and 15 days from now) and I'm excited since I get to post?? on my birthday! Woo.)

Questions:
1) What do you enjoy doing when you're at home sick (if you're able to actually move around)?
2) What is your favourite kind of pet?
3) Lamps or overhead lights?
4) Polka dots or stripes?
5) Time travel or space travel?

Smiles, hugs, and lots of love,
Carrie!!!!!
:)
