[Virgil, I'm sorry if I just gave you another panic attack. I just thought that the general, non-NaNo public ought to know.]

In math class yesterday and today, I (with the help of Virgil, House, and Lynda [though the latter two contributed their help during lunch and not math class]) developed a 6LCF Identification Guide; it is a handy tool that will help identify all the various species and subspecies of the Curly Fry genus.
Here it is, for everyone's future reference:
Species of the Curly Fry Genus
An Invaluable Resource!
**DISCLAIMER: This was written with flagrant disregard for Latin grammar. Please don't yell at me.

Obviously, each Curly Fry fits into more than one species.
I hope you enjoyed! :) I was going to make a dichotomous key for this, but I haven't had enough time to do so (I've still got science homework after this, so I can't do it post-post [har]). Perhaps next week.
Anyway, I would like the other five Curly Fries to categorise (argh; now I immediately go with British spellings >.<) themselves along the lines of the identification guide.
Readers (if you care to comment), you can try to classify each of the 6LCF too; I guess this would make for some interesting how-well-do-you-know-us trivia games and such.
[If you don't want to comment with a Curly-Fry classification, that's fine too. It was just a suggestion.]
That's it for this Tuesday.
Goodbye, then.

You are so funny, xiy!
Because you people heckle me on my English, I reserve the right to heckle you on your latin (and greek if necessary)
ReplyDeletethere are NO Y'S IN LATIN
all those verbs must be participles, I don't care if you don't know them yet FIND A WAY OR MAKE ONE!!!!
Xiy, I'm not yelling at you I'm yelling at Momo
I apply to all of these except for three... haha
ReplyDelete@Poofy
You make me smile :)
@Virgil: Frick, we already know that irl. Don't make us puke on our own blog, too :P
ReplyDelete"Science Olympiad Curly Fries--Curlyfrysius nerdii or Curlyfrysius awesomus," hahahaha yes. Superawesomus ^_^
Dear Poofy,
ReplyDeleteYou can't change science. So HA! This is science, Latin doesn't apply. Besides, your English grammar /should/ be better. For example:
"Greek" should be capitalised, so should "there", you need a punctuation after LATIN, "all" should be capitalised, the comma after participles should be a semi-colon, you need either another semi-colon after "yet" or a period, xiy is not capitalised, and and you need another comma after "you". I think I win.
@Virgil: Bad grammar makes you smile? Ew.
@Poofy: I don't know about legit Latin, but scientific genuses (genii?) do use the letter y. Halysites, Tyrannosaurus, Cypraea, and Cryptolithus being some of those genuses. (Fossils FTW!)
