There's a seriously legit amount of snow on the ground outside....

Hi guys.

I'm sick. 

It's not contagious though, so don't back up like that. I have pneumonia. It's not fun. It's not the really bad kind, just the basic cough/fever kind. There's this weird crackling thing going on in my lungs and it feels weird. There's also not as much oxygen going to my brain as there should be. Hence, not much writing is going on. Not much of anything is going on.

I've barely edged past 5k in my novel. The last sentence was.... (oh God, I haven't even looked at the document in three days)...

"The feeling of freedom was short-lived. Unfortunately, Xerxes would always be Ajax’s master." 

I renamed the story-within-the-story protagonist as Ajax Wolfe. The previous name did not please me, so I changed it at the last minute.

(Xerxes is his cat's name. I think that was xiy's idea.)
