Did you know that Disney's not doing the Narnia movies anymore? They dropped it back in, like, November of 2008; Fox is funding/marketing the movies now. I personally don't care who gives the money; as long as the movies are being made, I'm happy.
I'm listening to the remix of "He's a Pirate" right now. 'S very inspirational, doncha know.
Hrrrmmm... What to say now? Oh! Oh! Didja see the newset comic on xkcd? It's technically yesterday's, but I like it a lot because it's 1)not about math/computer programming, 2)therefore, I can actually understand it, and 3)it's funny in an "oh, FAIL" kind of way. Here it is:

The weather's pretty nice today--cool and a little rainy. I hear that in Beijing it's going to be around 99F by Friday. Poor them. It'll get hotter later in the week where we 6LCF live too, but definitely not as hot. That's good.

A fractal is a design that uses a mathematical formula. I'm not entirely sure how they work, but they're really cool. My desktop wallpaper is a fractal that I found on the internet.

ReplyDeleteAnyways, ummm.Reading that description about fractals made me realize that I already knew what fractals were...The definition was buried under a week of not-doing-anything-academic-blankety-things. Does that make sense?
